Car Dealer Simulator

This is a perfect... tech demo. I was able to complete it in less than 20 hours, which for such kind of game is too fast. It became kinda boring after the first 10 hours. The game shows a great potential and is fun to play, but right now there is a lot of issues: - strange game economy. Basically, the higher you pay initially for the car you purchase, the higher profit you will yield. The only thing affecting the initial car price seems to be the year of manufacturing. Which isn't totally illogical, but... still feels off somehow. - even if the car you purchase is fresh and costs a fortune, its mechanical state will be awful (you will still have to replace almost every damn part). No exceptions. - the game has a very small variety of cars. In such a game, you'd expect to see 10 times more different car models and series - a lot of small quirks and issues that show too openly that there is a lot to fix and add. Missing character animations, very strange dialogues (most of the characters talk and behave like they are mental). This game may become absolutely great. Sometime later. Maybe.

Needs more to do after Rank 10, Its a good game but a little short. Lets hope they add more to upgrade after 10.

Great game if you have plenty of time to kill, Lots of fun little mechanics that admittedly get very boring very quickly. Nice thought out design, Positives; - Some what of a time killer, lots of investments in time required to get 100% achievements although those can be cheesed with Saves if you really wanted to go that far. - Once the shop is upgraded, looks really clean and a nice place. - Driving although a little janky can be fun with how ragdoll like the flipping of the car is. - Nice negotiations mechanic that was very broken at the start but now fixed. (You could sell a car for way over value and the customer would accept after 3 rejections). Improvements; - Game play is a little repetitive - Achievements to sell 50 cars is a little excessive and should of focused more on repairing or automating the facilities. - Employees need an upgrade, speed and their function seem a little pointless as it's quicker to do it yourself. - Automation within the workshop would greatly benefit this game, like a tram system to drag the car from one area to another would be a great improvement but instead you got to drive the car from cleaner to body work to mechanic workshop depending on the method. This could also apply to the level of repairs as well as repairing old parts. - Receptionist just there to look pretty. Could be beneficial they manage sales with a minimum and maximum you're willing to accept for a car to free up purchasing or repairing cars as you can be idle in game for a while. - Car dealer customisation would be nice, infact to swap or move facilities to a better flowing organisation. Like you have a small garage for repairing parts but you could have a perfect flow of Washer, Bodywork, Mechanics and Photo booth/Painter (Could be the same thing) or a design of your liking. I finished the game because i wanted the 100% but would i do it again? No.

After some initial frustration (totally because I was stupid), this game managed to wrap me in a warm blanket, meaning I liked it. I suck at driving backwards with the dolly (just like RL). Back on topic. The game is good fun, if you like that kind of games.

It is a really fun little game. It reminds me of games made back in the late 90's, made by people who love video games. No big fancy graphics, just entertaining game play. The game is well worth the price. 68 hours on it already. They are still adding new content and fixing issues.

As the game stands right now I would say not quite recommended. The overall premise is pretty solid, and during my play through (closer to 15 hours as when i alt+ tabbed the steam client kept running) there just currently isn't much to do and the grind can become very boring pretty early on. - Need additional variety of vehicles as the ones offered you see regularly pretty often especially the cargo vans - the repair system is flawed, and there isn't any actual incentive to repair vehicles for sale or swap out any parts - the economy needs a massive overhaul as the profit margins on the used vehicles are pretty high after about 7 hours of gameplay I amassed over 500k and had nothing to really do with the money - driving the cars can be very stiff, and then when reversing the vehicles they move like a mustang in the rain and slide everywhere. the game has some addictive elements to it but before I can completely recommend it they would have to add additional content and things to do or change up the economy where it doesn't get boring pretty quickly

Amazing simulator that has an addicting gameplay loop, cant wait for future content from this game!

[b] TLDR - SOLID 9/10 GAME, LACK OF CAR PARTS, REPETETIVE GAMEPLAY, ANNOYING START, WORTH PLAYING [/b] This game is pretty fun if you are bored and dont know what else to play. Starting is kinda pain because you have to use manual tools until you can upgrade to electrical tools. Those are much much faster and better and more satisfying. But the game gets really repetetive after few hours. + Variety of cars to repair + Cool tools + Funny NPC ragdol + Graphics look goods for a game of this kind + You can change mileage on cars to make more money haha + Negotiating mechanism when buying and selling cars - Only few car parts you can replace, it gets boring - Using screwdriver or ratchet wrench for loosening and tightening lug nuts? Where did you see that lol - Repetetive over time - Cant wash or repair the tow truck - Cant customize the cars This game has so much potential. I would like to see custom rims on cars, custom bumpers, tuneable suspension - make it lower or higher. Installing new lights on cars would be epic. For example putting LED bulbs in basic lights or replacing them. Also i would like to see more car parts that you could change. For example torsion bars, transmission, fuel tank (it could leak gas). Torn seats would be cool too, you would have to make them new. Many more things to add :)

Game is a bit short currently (both in playtime to complete and content) but its still pretty fun. The loop is fun and despite being repetitive. If you like this type of game its worth getting. If you are into instant gratification don't buy this. Personally this game and its loop is in my wheelhouse so I had fun playing it.

Its really easy to get soft locked in the first quest I've sanded the first car completely many times now and I'm always missing like 1% of the car and I just cant seem to find it. You can still go get new cars to work on but I also find that you tend to missing 1% of the body repairs. Maybe they will fix it maybe they wont but i guess we will find out. I could also be blind.

As a former used car salesman turned virtual car dealer, I approve of this game! At just $20, it’s worth the price. Only two weeks after launch, there’s around 30 hours of gameplay to reach the "end" of the leveling and upgrade system. I’m really excited to see where the developers take it from here, especially with future DLC? So far, I haven’t encountered any major bugs - just a few minor ones that were quickly patched. Overall, it’s a really fun and well-made game so far!

really repetitive no wingle room really on buying cars off folks so its slow going. also at times its hard to tell why the car wont run.

Lovely town with trashy houses and my dealership is the most beautiful, plus I love the new junkyard updates.

Overall this is a good and fun game. But i have encountered many glitches, in this new update, the second repair machine doesn't appear anymore, and yes, i've bought it. Please fix the bugs dev

This game could be unreal but the bugs need to be sorted out the biggest one is the shop where you get parts from always being shut what's that about? Come on devs sort it out it's not like it's a 5 pound game

For the Price compared to higher quality sims isnt worth it. Its a good game, but for the Australian market its $10 overpriced. I cant recommend it unless on sale. Voice lines are terrible, driving feels weird and the town feels dead

this game is mad boring after an hr or so.. same few cars. max level is 10.. thats it. they should have added a lot of cars

Decently fun gameplay loop, but my bodyshop employee is bugged and won't remove any rust. Rust removal is one of the biggest time sinks early game. Without any automation, the progression is super slow and grindy (no pun intended). Wish i could get my money back

I've requested a refund unfortunately. After watching a popular streamer, it looked really fun and chilled. PC Specs: Ryzen 5 3600, 2070 super and 16gb RAM - downloaded, installed and started but it was dropping frames and very very laggy. Default settings were high, so I dropped to medium and still the same. Several comments about re-playability but having not even got to play smoothly I cant see it being with the effort to find best settings and pay £18. Following the updates, the DEVs look to be very very good and active, so no doubt it will get resolved down the line.

Spent 3 hours, there is no progression ... cosmetic upgrades are dull and they do nothing in terms of mechanics, hope the final version will be good, but highly doubt it.

Quite a fun way to pass time, with regular patches clearing any noticed bugs generally within 24-48 hours of being identified. Well built and well supported.

Real fun to play, updates and add-ons every week by the devs, so really great game!

GREAT GAME if you like loop games. constantly getting hotfixes and updates.. only small thing is once you get fully upgraded dealership it does feel like a drag and chasing your own tail but other then that it is quit enjoyable as an indie game

Game is quite enjoyable. Low on content and it seems like every time we get an update something else breaks.. As of today 7-10-25 I can no longer was vehicles. If I use the washer pointed away from the vehicle it works, but as soon as I point it at the vehicle it stops spraying. Last week, workers wouldn't finish body work. I appreciate the efforts to improve and expand the game, but each time I come back to play, it seems something else is wrong. I really enjoy the game play, so I hope this can get corrected quickly

it woud be good if added multiplayer. told some friend about it and show them the gameplay. they love it. we wold like to play togeter in the same server. as far of the gameplay is awesome

Love this game! Please add more cars and more variety to repairs. Would love to see accessories to add to vehicles like raised suspension, tire size and tread, floor mats and lights etc.

This game is what I wanted in a chill, relaxing, and laidback time sink game. The washing, waxing, and polishing part is my favorite and satisfying. The derusting and paint spraying parts are great and gives you that sense of progression that a lot of games lack. The going and finding deals and trying to undercut the sellers and buyers is fun to do, but if I could just have someone sell the cars while I work on them, I would be so happy. The updates and hotfixes, which are from active players feedback, are out of this world. This development team is crushing out quality of life fixes almost everyday and each one brings a great addition to the game. I love this game and will keep playing until I sold every car in the town.

I absolutely love this game, it scratches that organizational itch that many people look for in a simulation game. I've even started it over a few times because I feel like early game is way better than late game, in late game its more idle management than actual game play. Cons: 1. The game is not pretty visually, it looks like you are in a town hit by an atomic bomb and the nicer your building looks the worse the town looks. Im not sure why that was a look the devs went for but other than your vehicles on the lot the game is pretty much devoid of color other than grey, brown, black and green. From an immersion standpoint im not sure why my character would want to spend millions of his dollars to make this place look so nice when everything looks so run down. 2. The tow truck is awful, I bought it and regretted it. It takes soooo many steps to get your vehicle on and off the truck you might as well stick to the trailer on the back of your truck, it takes much less time to load and unload. 3. Buying the last employee is pointless, you are spending money on something that makes no difference in the gameplay, the "receptionist" doesn't sell cars or interact with the customers or anything so it seems like maybe in future they are supposed to do something but it hasn't been worked out yet. 4. Endgame - I wish cars and parts could be delivered vs. me having to go get them, early game you aren't buying a large quantity of cars so it doesn't really bother me but later in the game you have more spots to fill so I could spend multiple days just picking up all of the cars ive purchased which lets the monotony set in. 5. The car value system is really messed up and only goes by the year of the car and not really anything else, I could have a 1999 vehicle with 80k miles and its worth 6k and then a 2008 vehicle with 180k miles and it will be worth 56k and each vehicle has just as many crap parts inside. 6. The negotiation system between you and customers is absurd, they will come to my lot and ask 20k less than what my car is listed for (I always stay within perimeters when listing, Im not asking for anything crazy) but when I go buy the car Im lucky to get them down more than 5k for a non working vehicle. But eventually someone will come to my lot and pay full price for my vehicles anyway so im not sure why that number wouldnt be closer for better negotiations vs. just waiting for a customer to come along and just buy it outright, especially endgame when im not desperate for cash. Lastly as far as the achievements go, nobody is buying 50 of the offrider, apex or umx's, there just isnt any value in them. All in all I do feel like ive absolutely gotten my monies worth on this game and there are regular updates coming out making the game better and better each time. I do recommend it despite my criticisms because after all I still play it too.

The game is very enticing for a person who really admires different types of vehicles and then repairs/restores them. Hoping for more updates soon with new vehicles

Overall a great game. Worth the money. Lots of tasks to keep you busy, always something to do. The physics could be a bit better. I wish you were able to drive a car onto the tow truck instead of having to winch it every time. Perhaps in a future update?

Fun gameplay loop, good progression pacing

I got to try this out in demo before the game released (try demo before buying if you have any doubts) When it released I paid full price, which is not normally what I do, I usually wait for games to go on sale, but the price was a great value. The developers are active in listening to bug reports and are fixing them, and yes, they're still adding new features. They have a discord for bug reporting and help if you get stuck with anything in game.

I like it over all. Its fun and addicting but not in a bad way.. I do wish you could kind of customize the vehicles a little more like rims, spoilers, bumpers and sideskirts and stuff but i understand that this is a DEALER simulator and not like a racing or street game so it makes sense. The only thing i do not like is the cars you buy thru the office computer is so expensive and not even drivable yet i can only sell something i got to 100% and low miles for very little profit..but i also understand why we cant just take old rusty and get 100k out of it it would be too easy...anyway I would say it is a good game for the price and im sure itll get better thru out the future.

This game is well worth the cost, has tons of replayability, and is extremely relaxing.

Having fun with this game! Be nice to have more choice of cars to buy n sale. Maybe even have a rival garage to compete against. Good job!

10 hours and youre a wealthy salesman! WORTH the 20 bucks for sure!! Its very adictive! I really like the idea and the looks of that game. and its up to yourself if you want to be a sleazy seller who just offers crap or if you repair, paint and fix every part of the car and sell just quality. Ive choosen the middle and would say after 10 hours you´ve seen all what to do, but thats fine for the money and provided lots of fun to me. would love even more difficulty.

Ok, I've read some of the reviews. Yes, there are bugs. It's a sim game. None of them are perfect and this one is no exception. Yes, the game loop can feel boring after a while, but after about 14.5 hours with reputation 8, I can say I still enjoy the heck out of it. Fixing up a crappy car to pristine condition in order to sell it for a significantly inflated price is great. I hope there is more coming and will enjoy playing each and every update the devs put out.

I have invested 41 hours in this game and I can confidently say I loved every minute of it so far. This game is exactly what I hoped it to be and more and I can tell the developers are working hard towards coming out with more content and actually LISTEN to peoples suggestions in the discord. There are already numerous suggestions in the discord that have been added and the game runs great. Super fun to play, has a nice little story that goes along with it but also doesn't intervene too much with how you play the game. All around 5 Stars!

I really like this game and it has a lot of potential. I do find this game addictive, but there is very limited content at the moment. When you hit level 10 that's it the game is basically finished. There are still a lot of game breaking bugs and after patch updates the game you have saved is always broken. Example: Rust does not get removed from cars from the body work mechanic. The cars don't get fully washed by the car washer. It's a difficult one, because I don't want to give this game a negative. I'd rather steam had a mixed review on here, because it's a good game and the developer is patching this game all the time. I just feel it lacks different cars and content at the moment. I will definitely change my review with more added content. Employees do not even do anything now. You wait 6 mins and nothing lol
