Overall solid game. Is it worth it for you? What is ~12 hours of a game worth to you? On my end, I thought I was really going to love this, and still waited for it to go on sale for $20. It would have felt like such a waste of money to me at the full price point.
Difficulty-wise, choose the hardest if you're anywhere near okay at shooting. The game will fly by and you'll only die a small handfull of times (dying doesn't matter). Give yourself a challenge and I think it will actually make the gun-play feel much better overall.
There are some bugs that appear throughout the game that REALLY killed the experience for me because they only happened during the peak times of the game when you feel in the groove and then it completely breaks the game. You can soft lock yourself in a conversation, causing you to restart the checkpoint, a boss can disappear underground, causing you to restart a checkpoint.
Overall, I would have loved a little more, both story-wise and misc mission wise. There are so many cool abilities and suit features you get, and the only time they are needed is on a straight path to the next area, it didn't feel exploratory much, but more like 'oh, I have to switch to this to get up this wall, and then this to get past this.', it felt like it got really lazy towards the end like they had to rush through it when they could have expanded so much more.
- The first ~5 hours of the game were amazing, it was nicely paced and the exploration was awesome. From there, it was 'go back to this place you've already been and kill a boss now'.

The dialog scenes between your sister and Gene felt bad. Doesn't matter what 'decision' you made, they come at you to make you feel like shit even if you agreed with them the entire time. Yes, both of their characters were made to be 'scummy', but I mean that this felt bad because your choices didn't impact a thing at all, so why even give me the option?
Why give me a super overpowered gun only for the single mission fight and then not allow me to use it when trying to 100% the game? I don't want to deal with shooting enemies that literally don't matter story-wise anymore. Give me the big gun and left me fly through the enemies so I can get to the boxes in the levels.
This is probably a me issue and I'm really not that upset about it, but my goodness is this going to be hard to 100%. Having to look in every nook and cranny for these boxes it a pain. There are a couple levels I'm missing ~2 on and I've stepped in every area that I know of without an inkling as to where the remaining are.
