Even if you're not a fan of the game, this soundtrack SPEAKS to its listener. If you need creative inspiration for writing, painting or drawing, then you should definitely buy this and play it on repeat. "BuT I HaVe YouTubE" Yeah, but you also have interruptions like RAID: Shadow Legends and TikTok ads. Downloads don't have interruptions. Only greatness.

Full disclosure, I'm a huge fan of the Dark Devotions game, it is a very atmospheric game with a unique mood. Listening to the soundtrack made me realise how much the soundtrack contributes.

This release is such a mess. Files are not tagged at all, no cover is included, mp3 and wave formats are structured differently, but the worst offense is that lossless files are not actually lossless - they're reconverted 128kbps mp3 files with clear frequency ceiling at 17kHz. They both output literally the same blocky waveform, except one wastes few times more space than it needs to. Ridiciolous to think that an official publisher fools its customers like it was some kind of a warez service, although I'd argue actual warez websites have more integrity than these guys.
