Atomic Exile

I think anyone who checks out this game and is curious should give it a chance. That's what I did and I'm thankful for it because it's become my go to casual game to relax with. I got this because I love retro visuals and the pictures seemed interesting. I saw extraction shooter and wasn't sure what to expect. Needless to say I've become addicted to this game. I've had so much fun. It feels like a much more casual Tarkov but as a twin stick shooter. I didn't realize how badly I wanted a game like this until now. When I died the first time, I thought it would be like any other extraction shooter and my character would be completely dead but it saves your last point from the main town and you can pick up where you left off. It's a relaxing, fun, and enjoyable game. There's a few quests from the townsfolk to get you going and some unspoken goals that you'll eventually set for yourself based on what you need or want. I've also experienced little to no bugs and not a single crash thus far. The only issues I've seen are UI related but are completely doable and non-intrusive. Being that this is an early access review and extremely early into the early access release, I can only hope that they continue to provide this level of enjoyment with each new content release. This game as it is now is very fun and feels like a hidden gem.

This is a fun game to play and i do recommend it but i would hold off on buying it until there is a bit more in the game, At the moment there is only a few areas. 1 outside the camp and a couple u travel too. I will keep an eye on the game over time. but for now i am done playing it after 6hrs. but i like what i see so far,

the new update makes the crash almost immediately after loading in and starting...... I love the game but i cant play it. Edit: The wonderful devs gave the tools to fix it and now it running great. Thank yall

[h3]Fun and Casual Early Access Looter Shooter[/h3] However, the game still need a lot of QoL, currently too few contents as there are about 2.5 areas to explore. No crash so far after recent patch, but no guarantee for future patch. Yet, the EA quality is good enough for my liking. At the end, it is a very nice looter shooter with good potential, could buy during discount or wait for 1.0 release.

Fun. Buy it. Support this DEV so they can flesh this out. Indie EA gold....as of now. And if you have a gun fetish! Whew! Customizing the firearms is fun. Who knew there were so many types of ammo? Buy it. Support your local indie game developer. Grass fed.

Lots of crashes launch day, but the dev has been very swift in responding to issues & rolling out multiple patches - and so far all issues I had have been corrected. The game itself feels like the lovechild of Zero Sievert and Blood Running; there's a lot of room for improvement but it's fun, and if you like top down extraction shooters it's worth getting.

Its alright, was hoping there would be more locations to explore - maybe in the future. I thought it was going to be a procedural world that changes each time. Also would be nice if loot respawned in the main town map, at the gas station and such.

The game has very good base ideas/mechanics. Stalker/ITR themed world with Zero Sievet extraction shooter mechanics. I think the game needs some more balancing & QOL updates to improve the playability, but its a very good Early Access game that I will keep on my radar for the next few months or so.

It's such a fun game with really well executed gun customization, you have a garage with a workbench and there are vehicles out on area instances. I think this will be very fun experience when it's closer to completion. I played the demo first and that's not normal in the 20's.

I have found my new favorite game to play. Even with the rocky start to the early access release this game has me hooked. I was able to play over 5 hours last night without a single crash. Keep up the great work!

This is a great start, it sort of reminds me of another game (Zero Sievert), but it does have a different vibe as this game has all the similar extraction hallmarks, but adds a ton of other zombie related things that seem cool. Right now it does have some bugs, but it IS EA so it is expected. I recommend it if you like extraction games in general and I cannot wait to see how it develops.

fun game and I really like customizing my weapons.

i love the randomness in the game, the customization is great. I wish for controller support but more importantly I wish for more random mission generation. I'm almost done with the first two areas and now there is almost nothing to do except run around and shoot zombies.

Yeah the weight system killed this for me. Couple kg over and you can't move. Ridiculous implementation of a simple mechanic. Man I wanted to like this one, but I think I've played my last. Let my couple bucks be a warning to others.

This is a fun ass game!!! It's EA and some of the mechanics/QoL need improvement but overall feels great and has a ton of potential. The looting pretty healthy, the quests and progressions at straight forward and the top-down isn't an hindrance and it doesn't feel "dated" with it's pixel graphics.

This is a really fun game. More content than the demo. I see a lot of people are mentioning bugs, but i have yet to see any crashes. I was stuck in a room once, but no big issues. Would recommend the game

Very cool game with proven gameplay mechanics - I am looking forward to more Items and increasing gameplay depth. I can imagine various scenarios to be explored similar to what one can find in Jagged Alliance 2. If you manage to include a multiplayer on your roadmap, you could have a real gem on your hand.

Thank you for updating the game quickly and for your interest in developing the game. The game is very enjoyable and we are waiting for the expansion of missions, weapons and enemies.

Eh it's ok. Kinda the same as every other game that it looks like though.
