For a story with such an absurd concept, Nikitashi delivers a surprisingly heartfelt and thought-provoking narrative about human relationships and social constructs. Every route is unique with its distinctive message about individualism and society, which ultimately contribute to create one the best true ending that I’ve ever read. Don’t let the premise trick you into thinking that Nukitashi is just a nonsensical nukige; it’s a story about struggle, understanding, connection, and forgiveness. It’s a wish for a more tolerant society, and that peace truly is the noblest pursuit. I would recommend playing in this order for the best experience: Misaki → Hinami → Nanase → True End.

Usually I prefer to read the visual novels instead of the anime adaption but in this case, the localization is so insultingly bad I rather watch the anime. That being said, I still cant believe Nukitashi of all things got an anime.
