Fuck this game, final boss is fucking dog shit. I have not passed this game to the end and I am never going to do this because of the final boss 6/10

It kinda pains me to give this a negative review, but here we are. First the positive - the game is absolutely gorgeous. The artwork, the animations, and even the general polish of it all makes it beautifully clean. Unfortunately, pretty much everything else is negative. Everything is incredibly basic, movement is slow, levels are large and empty providing nothing to do. A bit like Shadow of the Colossus, this is more about the boss fights, but even those are marred by clunky movement. Also there's only 6 of them before the game is done, and perhaps worst of all I'd be lying if I said any of them felt fun. In fact, "fun" seems to be what this game is completely devoid of. The game takes a few hours to beat, and most of that time is spent wishing you could move faster. If it wasn't for the artwork, I would expect this game to have been a college project someone uploaded to the web for free.

I honestly gave up on beating the game. I was dragging myself to beat it already, but I tried like 5 times the fight with odin and uninstalled it. The only thing I liked was the piece of mythology here and there. The movement and the combat are so slow it hurts. You either do 1% dmg with the light atack or 5% with the heavy, but it winds for so long you usually miss it. It's hard to understand things because you have control over the camera. I beat Deadcells in all difficulties, and I was always ok with dying because I wasn't playing well. This game you battle against your patience more than with the enemies

Solid game, not too long, not too short. A lot of creative environments. A good amount of bosses and ability variety, there is one attack that the lightning boss does that is fast enough that if you get hit once the blindness makes it so you don't have time to move out of the next strike but this was the only attack that felt completely unfair. The fire boss was my favorite, even with all the collectibles it still was difficult but fun and rewarding when I finally beat it. The music and story was fantastic. I enjoyed my time with the game but I wish the character moved a little faster and the heavy attack did more damage. At the moment it feels like you are doing the same amount of DPS as the normal attack but with a slow charge up.

Simple game but really fun and enjoyable gameplay. Love the visuals
