Partisans 1941

The game style relies on stealth and has the worst stealth system I've ever seen in a video game. You cut a man down while he was fully alerted? Well then the bro has some telepathic powers and told everyone in eastern Europe about your existence. At night time when you carry a body your detection level skyrockets to 2000%, but you can somehow stand next to a door and people walking in and out won't notice you. Oh better yet, sometimes when you get into a firefight, I guess gunshots are only loud enough to be heard in a 10m radius because enemies on the other side of town just never bothers to respond. However, when a dog barks at you then everyone in eastern europe knows about your existance.

Liked the idea, but spent most of the game being shown that stealth is basically the only approach that really matters as your characters can't aim to literally save their lives. So while you spend a majority of the game only using those characters who can actually accomplish anything in stealth and not bogging yourself down with ammo you won't use, you eventually get shoehorned into a level that does a complete 180 forcing you into a ridiculous wave defense mode with little to no prep between the easy single direction waves, and the every direction waves of a crossroads. With three characters only. Mines are the obvious savior here, but again, other than the first wave which is no problem, you're effectively given no time to prep for the waves you'll NEED the mines making them kind of moot. I thought the timed mission was a terrible bit of design, but this is much worse. At this point I don't really care if the rest of the game goes back to being "ok" because this is bad enough to just stop and play something better.

this is very good game. actually very good. Don't listen to the negative feedback. They don't know how to play this game correctly. The gameplay is: (1) you sneak to setting up the fight, eliminate every lone enemy. (2) setup your position then starting with grenades or special abilities.

Nice bit of Commandos nostalgia gameplay-wise, plus you get to kick fascist a** while playing the good guys for once.

I want to like this game. I really do. But the stealth truly is awfully frustrating.

Nazis are here to kill you so instead of trying to "debate them in the marketplace of ideas", you get to kill them. Nazis don't care about facts, bullets don't care about their feelings.

i expected some isometric rpg. instead i got a reality show about how aryans are superior race and a sob story about how russia was hurt. this is obviously the work of some peoples with a very peculiar political opinion. this game actualy contain voiceline that says '' aryan are superior'' and you hear it in the first 5 minute of cinematic. there was ways to protray the theme without actualy using this cheap line and forcing peoples to ears this obsenity is completely disingenious. i won't play this. nor will i recomend it.

If you enjoyed Blades Of Shogun and Desperados 3, you'll enjoy this.
