Game has bugs that haven't been addressed in a long time. Pathing of the units have been brought to the developers' attention multiple times. Right click stops working mid game, for example, I clear a bandit camp, right click on it to search it - nothing happens, or right click on a runestone to claim it - nothing happens, right click on a village to get a quest -nothing happens, the only way to fix it is to reload the save file. Second campaign (Kairven), first mission, one of the tasks is to find a missing muskox, and it can't be found, this bug is almost a year old, and you can't progress the mission and campaign any further.

It would be a good game if it wasn't flooded with bugs and glitches of all sorts. Naval units movement and combat is difficult to handle, due to boats lagging to respond and often ignoring orders. Land units can suffer the same but much less. Building placement can also be problematic. Basically what happens is that you see the location for building as suitable (white shadow instead of red), click it and the building menu disappears with nothing being built. Some buildings are more affected like trading post and warehouse, and building in outposts outside the main base seems to worsen issues considerably. Bugs and glitches grow esponentially in multiplayer mode. Movement of units is extremely laggy, map view sometimes stops working so your view is stuck in a spot and can only be changed clicking on the minimap, which basically means you are done and can only quit the game. Some improvements over time have sorted previous issues such as resources balance, but this is happening far too slowly. So perhaps one day it will be a nice game, but for now it is not.

Pretty great game for the price. A lot of interesting mechanics. My only complaint is that it is a little buggy.
