Shenmue III

Of course it can't fullfill the expectations. But on its own, its a solid game. Very very long one. 25 hours for my first playthrough

If you aren't already are sold on the idea of what Shenume series is trying to do, you wont like this. That's just how it is. Minigames are mostly tedious, the dialogue (English) is really choppy and the amount of running around is real. And i don't think any plain rational argumentation can turn that around for someone who is addicted to fast paced dopamine kicks. It's just hard to explain, but to me it's just a feeling that i get really invested in this game because i made the effort to be. I had a very similar experience with Death Stranding, just forcing myself into the game and investing myself, which eventually led to me creating my own sense of value in the game. If you're the type that gets that invested, play the trilogy and see if you "get it", it might be worth it :) Ps. expect QTE's though, the really really really really really dumb kind.
