STAR WARS™: Rogue Squadron 3D

[h3]I consider myself some-what of a fair person... BUT:[/h3] After the second time purchasing and playing the game, I genuinely can not recommend Rogue Squadron 3D. Like I said in the review's header, I consider myself some-what of a fair person. I bought this game when it first came out on Steam against my better judgement after reading the mostly negative reviews. The game played "okay-ish" but I ran into a game breaking bug early on during the very first mission on Tatooine. I tried messing with what I could to make the game work, even with the knowledge I have with game settings (Not by any means an expert) I could not get it to work. Fast forward to the Star Wars "The 4th" sale and the reviews have climbed up to "Mostly Positive" which was a vast improvement from the last time I purchased the game. The game started up well enough and as far as I knew, I did not need to change anything in the menu. I started the Tatooine mission (The first mission that acts as a tutorial level). I get to the ship selection and choose my ship, X-Wing, and the ship starts it's launch animation. X-Wing gets to the middle of the hanger, speeds out, less than a second of it flying, and screen crash. After the screen crash, I completely gave up and returned the game. This was more disappointing than the last time because the game actually got to Tatooine and even got to control the ship a bit before the game glitched. Because of the issue I had with the second purchase, I will not buy this game again. This game is a raw 3D simulator game designed to make you a rebel pilot. Worth whatever small price they sell this game for.

A classic Star Wars game dedicated to flying missions. Plays better with a gamepad. Recommended for the fans!

This was the first game I ever put 100+ hours in. I had the N64 Costco bundle. Made me want to join the Air Force to be a pilot. Only think is it doesn't work well with controllers. Please path it so i can play it with the n64 controller Nintendo released for the switch. Yall would make my year if you did.
