Lost Ruins

Quick game, fair mechanics, good design.

I went straight to veteran cause i wanted a challenge, so my review may be a little skewed, but yeah it was decently hard. The game is very rewarding to the clever, but brutal and punishing if you can't figure things out. I was just barely able to beat the final boss with only 2 weapons and without taking much damage at that. Do with that as you will. If you like your anime characters sexy, that's something to look forward to with this game. Overall, i had a lot of fun with just my one playthrough, but apparently there's 3 more endings and another story.

Very good game and story-line. The default control is aimed towards a controller and it's not very PC friendly. PC's Movement feels a little stiff in combat which makes it harder to calculate attacks and the hit boxes are very fine tuned (like, the hatched only hits with the metal part. If the enemy is too close, the hatchet won't hit it). [h1]DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF REBINDING THE SPACE BAR. IT WILL AFFECT ALL OF THE GAME'S MENUS AND YOU WON´T BE ABLE TO "SELECT" ANYTHING ANYMORE.[/h1] I had to plug-in a controller just so I could return it to normal.
