This game is a comfort game. It wears all of its game play on its sleeve and has a charming art style to match. I've played the game on and off since it first came out in 2016 but never committed to finishing it until today. As many people mentioned the game is riddled with bugs, some that will break the game and some that have a genuine learning curve to them. This game is truly carried by its vibes which are amazing when they work, the problem being they work less as it goes on with its bugs slowly wearing you down. The Narrative is lack luster and fails to have a significant impact on the game itself, but again with some charm always on the back foot the vibe of the drive can be enough for some. Minor spoilers (It would be major if the game had a real plot) but the game ends with a note. At first I drove from point A to B and when i got there confused and ultimately alone I tried to go back to point A and ended up encountering so many bugs and glitches that I gave up on the idea of something actually being back at the starting point to run the final credits. Obviously if the game ironed out its bugs and you are alright with the game being everything you see in the trailer, it truly is a good game. Still I cant recommend a game that is only 90% complete regardless of my opinion from a narrative level. Enjoy the energy and style or not and let that fuel your decision.

I haven’t got much to add, that other reviews haven’t already said. That being said, this is the only Steam game that I touched, for a while. Janky? Yes. Game-breaking bugs? Seen one, in years of this, a generation where one of the bumps, after the downhill, totals your vehicle’s parts. The third part of the journey, I believe. Fun? On a bun. Sometimes, there’s nowhere I’d rather be, than on those freeways from ‘Just outside Berlin’ to Dresden, or Malto Tarnovo to Istanbul. Coming INTO Malto, though? Better have some good tires! It’s not built for you to do it all on the stock parts, you’ll be heading back to Square one quite a few times, until you make enough off the roadside boxes, and learn the highs and lows of shops’ purchase and sale prices, to get better parts at Laika dealerships. I don’t think a lot of reviews have pointed that last part out, actually. Fuel stations have some stuff for sale besides fuel. Take a bit of time to learn the highs and lows of the 5 products (Sausage, Medicine, Fabric, Wine, Tobacco). For example, Medicine could be in abundance in CSFR, costing you only 9 Marks each, then, two trips later, Hungary’s BEGGING for Medicine, and buying them in for 21 Marks each. You’ll be staring down HSK / Krome Kong parts, and the Bronze / Silver Repair Kit before you know it! Uncle has a different letter in his briefcase in every town, and they make up most of the story. The edges are so rough they could be used in gang warfare, yes, but I dare say it’s got the same ‘vibes’ and effect as House Flipper. “There’s no rush. You’ll get to where you’re going with enough hard graft”. But anyway, I’ve wound up rambling. Get this on ANY discount. Doesn’t have to be a big one, to justify it, I think. Did I say I didn’t have much to add?

5/5 I enjoyed the ride of the broken down vehicle. In review I wont play this game again but I really enjoyed playing it in the moment. Enjoyable aspect of the upkeep of the car. No tutorial on most things. Buggy sometimes. but for me 5/5

Very chill and relaxing game, but its very confusing and pretty difficult. Once I drove to the first hotel I parked my car and went inside payed for the room, went to sleep and then shut down the game. I launched the game and It didnt tell me what to do next so I was clueless what to do, you need to play for a bit to understand the mechanics. If you find cars interesting I would recommend this game to you, slowly progress to the end of your journey.

I mean the concept of this game is pretty good, however It's just a buggy mess and unplayable sometimes. I know I've played a lot, and It was very fun but the amount of bugs and glitches just destroys it for me. Maybe if the game is on sale you could buy it, but this game is definetly not worth 15 bucks. I would not recommend. Sorry

I could not recommend this game in most situations. It has too many game breaking bugs that soft locks you.

spent all my money on a new fuel tank, it then proceeded to fly away on top of an inaccessible building guarded by an invisible wall, so yeah
It was awful 7 years ago. It's just an abandoned garbage now.
The most honest argument I can give: do not buy this.
Pros+:

The premisse of "Build, repair, refuel and drive a dilapidated old car on a grand journey through territories...". And that is it.

Cons-:

Every thing else but the premisse.
Save your money, do not buy this trash. There're best
trash
options nowadays, for sure. It's a 4/10.

Barely finished, buggy, shallow, and abandoned driving sim where car components break in 5 minutes.
