UBERMOSH

Just hit 100% in this game, so it's time for a review. I was genuinely surprised by how good this game turned out to be. I picked it up on sale as part of a bundle and got all the games for cheap, so I’m looking forward to diving into Ubermosh: Black next and aiming for 100% there as well. The bullet splicing mechanic is incredibly satisfying especially on Hardboiled mode, where surviving the chaotic onslaught feels like a real accomplishment. The gameplay is intense, fluid, and keeps you hooked for hours thanks to its tight mechanics and perfectly tuned difficulty. There are very few negatives, but a couple are worth mentioning. First, the collision can feel a bit sticky as your character tends to get caught on walls rather than smoothly gliding along them. Second, it’s easy to get hit by bullets coming from off screen in the vertical direction, since your vertical visibility is more limited than your horizontal. These can be managed with careful movement, but they're still minor annoyances. That said, the overall experience is fantastic. It’s fast, rewarding, and polished where it counts. I absolutely recommend this game.

First time I played it, I got wrecked in like 3 seconds. You’ll probably die a bunch too, not gonna lie, t’s super zoomed in and everything comes at you fast. But once you get the hang of it, it’s straight-up addicting. You got this sword to deflect bullets and you grab guns off enemies. AD strafing is the move. Just move side to side and spray in all directions. There’s not a lot to it, no deep story or anything, but that’s not the point. It’s a score attack game. You jump in, try not to die, and see how long you can last. Super cheap too, like a dollar.

The gameplay is okay enough to be fun but sometimes the game randomly freezes and you have to start over again

Cool concept, but it gets kind of ruined by how close the camera is. Most of your deaths will likely be walking into offscreen projectiles with no idea what happened. Getting high scores doesn't feel satisfying either, because usually it consists of mashing left click into thin air and wondering where the hell did the 250 kills come from.

For the price I would say it's worth it even though you get bored after 2 runs.

Super cheap bullet hell with very fast pace. You use the guns dropped by enemies and a sword to divide enemy bullets. There is not really much to offer besides the challenge but, in the best scenario, the game can keep you playing a few hours. The colours of the blood made the spanish republican flag, which i think is the most efficient government structure and would be great for the future of my country, but that's another story... The game and the complete saga are extra cheap so really deserves EASY MODE TRICK: if the gameplay is too fast, limit the fps in the graphic card configuration. 20fps is ok

What you should do if you get this game is: Start on Hardboiled, that's all. That's how you should play it, it might be punishing but trust me, I really enjoyed my experience playing this game and 100% it, currently still going through the entire series so I hope you enjoy them too. And the soundtrack is just too good, that's my favorite part of playing the Ubermosh games.
