I. Excellent soundtrack that captures the atmosphere and vibe of the Adeptus Mechanicus. Even if this type of game is not for you, the soundtrack is something that can be enjoyed by all. The full OST can be found on YouTube and Spotify, and probably most other music/video platforms.
II. Excellent use of the Warhammer 40k IP. The lore, artwork, and writing for this game are all very well crafted and really bring you into the world of 40k. If you are a fan of either of the factions involved, the Mechanicus or the Necrons, then this game will provide a great and enjoyable experience for you. Even if you aren't a fan of these factions, it is still a great 40k experience that might change your perspective on and give you a newfound appreciation for them.
III. For the type of game this is, turn-based tactics in the same vein as XCOM, it is extremely fun and has some unique mechanics inspired by the setting. It is not super rng heavy. The most important variable for success is not chance but player choice, such as your upgrades/augments, positioning, unit selection, etc.
IV. Good amount of replay-ability due to the way that the campaign is structured. There are a lot of sectors with varying enemy types and events, but since you are under a hard time limit to explore the Tomb World before it awakens, you may not get to all the places you want to explore before your time is up. There are also a lot of story decisions and missions that you can choose to play one way or another, and there are two Tech-Priests that want you to take certain actions which benefit their cause of either exterminating Xenos technology or studying and adopting it. So you end up never really experiencing everything in one playthrough, and depending on what missions you prioritize you can get different endings. Ultimately this gives the game enough variety to feel fresh for a few playthroughs. There are also a lot of different ways to play based on the troops you use and the augments you give them.
Malefits
I. The gameplay can be a bit repetitive. Although there are a lot of different storylines, events, choices, and playstyles that make it fun to replay, when it comes down to the simple reality of 'select unit and shoot at robot mummy man,' it can feel a bit samey when you get further into the game. It is still an enjoyable experience, but this is something to keep in mind.
II. In my personal experience of the game I find it can be a bit choppy and run slow. Originally I played a crappy dell laptop with integrated graphics, and surprisingly the game actually ran on that. Of course it performing poorly on that laptop is not the game's fault, however I have upgraded to a 2080 and although it performs much better, I still encounter some choppiness and graphical bugs which I think are generally on the game's end. It is also true that a lot of the actual animations for units and stuff can take a while to complete, not due to lag but just as part of the game design, which can slow down the overall experience. Some things to consider perhaps, though it should run well on most systems, and apparently even if you have a crappy laptop you should still be able to play.
III. Graphics are decent but not the best. Some of the textures are not very detailed especially when you are customizing your Tech-Priests. Nonetheless it is a pretty game and though it might not have the highest graphical quality the art style, effects, and level design are still really great.
IV. The game's difficulty can be inconsistent. Sometimes the game is super easy, and I imagine especially for those who are veterans of the genre. At the same time certain sections can be unreasonably challenging, and for new players, with the added confusion of figuring out the mechanics, this is likely doubly the case. It gets particularly easy endgame once you have maxed out your Priests, to the point that a lot of the bosses are trivial. Luckily the game has difficulty settings that you can change at any time during your playthrough, so it is easy enough to adjust them to make the game more of a challenge, or if you are struggling you can of course decrease the difficulty in a variety of ways.

Overall Mechanicus is a great game. I have thoroughly enjoyed it as a longtime fan of the Adeptus Mechanicus, and the soundtrack in particular I have listened to for hours on end. The gameplay is fun and brings some unique mechanics to the genre. The art style is fantastic, alongside the writing, and although the game's graphics aren't the best and it can get a bit choppy at times, it is still a great experience that really brings you into the world of Warhammer 40k. One of the better games to come out of the franchise. Although I one hundred percent recommend this game, I will say that you should consider whether or not this specific genre of games is for you. Although I enjoy turn-based tactical strategy games, that may not be for everyone, especially those who are maybe looking for something with more action. So as with all things keep in mind what is fun for you and what you would like to spend your time on. For those who like this genre and are fans of or interested in 40k, I can say you will not be disappointed.
