As an avid fan of both tower defense and roguelites, this game is a successful combination of both. It has the passive satisfaction of a tower defense combined with the novelty and customization of a roguelike deck-builder. The game-play is both easy to get into and potentially deep. Sometimes it all comes down to luck with encounters and items but the game definitely rewards strategic placements. The graphics are a bit bare-bones but the depth of gameplay and the soundtrack make up for it. You will find yourself doing "just one more game" more often than you thought. Definitely worth a buy for TD fans.

Very interesting game. The UI is pretty bad, but the core gameplay is great if you like TD.

This game is great. The graphics at first glace look pretty awful (difficult to decipher the screenshots in the Store) but they're perfectly fine even in the first 2 minutes of game play. I did finally get bored at the 80 hour mark, I didn't really feel there was anything left to do. That's still a lot of gameplay! Sure, there were more deck styles I hadn't tried out but I was happy with what I'd done and seen to that point. There are ways to make the game harder for yourself but there's zero reward to that challenge, so that gets old after a while. And I did fine at the harder game modes and difficulties. The games are all infinite so there's no "beating" a mode, you just play until you lose.

I enjoy this alot, the grind is very welcome. hour plus long slogs with a build and the card aspect keeps run fresh. You can run different decks for starter cards and relics to really make runs feel vastly different
