The game seems competently made. However, variance is too high; in addition to attack miss chance, there is dodging, parrying, critical failure, critical parrying, and a chance to resist cc effects (ofc there are damage ranges too). In short: almost every aggressive action in a fight is subject to a high range of random outcomes, with slight alterations depending on gear and positioning. Meaning: in one instance of a fight your heroes kill themselves with critical failures and in another instance of the same fight, the enemies crit fail themselves to death. With such high variance, tactics barely matter. I do not enjoy that.

A wonderful game that I recommend to all turn based tactical combat lovers. Fun hard but not impossible combats and so long as you have enough healers and potions to revive your team in the battles even when half your team goes down they can be restored and go on to win. The map is clear and lets you know where you are and where you have to go and the humour and voice acting is delightful. The only thing to take account of is the facing of you team in battles where it is easy to make mistakes if you click too quickly on the mouse and end up having your squad members exposing their flanks and rear to attack which I did more than a few times but learned the hard way too adjust to. The importance the game attaches to rear flank and surrounding attacks is something too many games do not do enough off and allows the battles to be more than slug fights.

Underrated gem Humorous adventure rpg story, really good combat and ability builds available, graphics are nice, systems are well polished. Highly recommended

Great turn based strategy game that offers a challenge and different build options. I have been enjoying the game this far!

It's a silly, fun game. If you like the typical DnD type Isometric games you should enjoy this
