This game is very good, pristine, nice gameplay, the graphics are very nostalgic, 10/10 really recommend

A relaxing puzzle game about breaking free of convention and following your dreams, no matter where they lead.

It's as good as Syberia 1 for the first 90%, but I feel like the final hour or two there is a noticeable drop in puzzle quality. Some of the logic just seems to peter out, and there are a couple of instances of pixel hunting + arbitrary "you have to have done this specific action before the solution becomes available, even if you had already figured it out". I have no earthly clue how you're meant to figure out the final puzzle. One half is simple because you can find the solution written down, but the other... I don't even know. I brute-forced it, then looked up a couple guides to try to get an explanation for what the process was meant to be, but not a single one I found tried to explain it, so perhaps Sokal took that mystery with him to Valhalla ; - ; Anyways, it's a lovely fun game with an amazing soundtrack, and I heartily recommend it. You'll just need to grab dgVoodoo and follow some instructions from Google to get it running in 4:3 with a 30fps cap, else you'll end up with a stretched and super-fast mess of an experience.

My play time was 10 hours. Many puzzles required me to check walkthroughs, as they were impossible. I still recommend this game, as it is hard to find non-violent, non pixel graphics, point and click adventure games these days. Of Syberia games, The World Before is my favorite, then Syberia 1. This comes in 3rd of those three games. The art work is beautiful, the story was good. You can double click to make Kate run, and you can right click to fast forward thru dialogue.

Very similar to the original. Clunky and old but I enjoyed it even still in the 2020s. The way that the "natives" are treated remains a bit problematic in my opinion, but other than that it holds up pretty well.
