That was The Room, VR, I guess the Dark truly does Matter. The only VR entry of The Room and one of the best entries in The Room series, 10/10 would room again.

Simply one of the best games made for VR next to Half Life: Alyx. Very memorable. Nothing compares to standing next to an Egyptian monument in VR and realizing how massive it truly is or would have been. Amazing gameplay and graphics. Highly recommended.

A great addition to The Room series - it makes good use of the virtual reality aspects and is very intuitive to navigate for a VR-newbie (and adds to the lore if you're into that at all), but I did miss some of the more traditional intricate puzzles and puzzle boxes from past games. From the reviews I already knew what to expect so I wasn't disappointed - but I do recommend getting it on sale.

Loved the game, I only like strategy puzzle games and found this got the brain working. I did find it crashed occasionally, I don't know if that is the game or my connection

Well designed and Perfect for VR. I found this much more enjoyable than The Room 1-4 on flat screen. I usually find puzzle games frustrating and annoying but with the hint system in this one its very enjoyable. I highly recommend it for a great VR experience.

This is another great addition to The Room series. Shorter than the other games and puzzles were generally simpler (except one that stumped me
I couldn't figure out which thing to move to rotate the pipe organ horns!
). Translation to VR was excellent, controls were intuitive. Atmosphere was good, I thought it was less spooky than the other Rooms, maybe to avoid being jumpscared into the real world furniture!

The puzzles are interesting and fun to work with. The best part is that if you get totally stuck and can't move on, the game offers you clue(s) in increasing detail so it's pretty hard to get to where you can't move on. I recommend it...

The more intimate lever-pulling and button-pressing interactivity possible in VR is a fantastic fit for the tinkering found in the The Room series. A Dark Matter is tragically short and the puzzles aren’t very demanding, but it’s satisfyingly paced and chock-full of contraptions that click and whir in all the right ways. The haunting atmosphere is top-notch with its fantastic lighting and spooky background sound effects. The Room VR is chilling and eerie without ever crossing any uncomfortable lines, a feat I respect given how easily foreboding environments can become overwhelming in VR. The hint system never quite gives the solutions away, and it does a good job of maintaining the flow of the mystery-solving whenever you miss something simple. The Room VR is an easy pick for a casual VR afternoon. While I won’t say it's worth the full $25 for less than two hours of puzzle solving, years later, the game’s sale price is finally starting to match the financial accessibility presented by the other series’ flatscreen games’ sale prices.

honestly thank god there weren't any jumpscares where there obviously could've been. 10/10 for that alone
