Must play if you like the NFS series. For me personally this is one of the best games to come out of the NFS franchise after NFS most wanted 2005. Highly recommend !!
Need for Speed Heat — Street Racing Reignited

Rating: ★★★★★
A bold return to form for the NFS franchise, Heat captures the thrill of street racing with high-stakes action, deep customization, and a vibrant day-night cycle. Need for Speed Heat blends classic street racing culture with modern visuals and tight arcade-style gameplay. It’s a title that understands what makes street racing exhilarating — danger, expression, and pure speed.

Gameplay and Driving
NFS Heat strikes a satisfying balance between accessibility and intensity. • Responsive arcade handling with strong drift mechanics • Day/Night cycle: legal races by day, illegal street events by night • Police chases escalate dynamically during nighttime sessions • Risk-reward progression — earn more Rep at night, but risk losing it all if busted While not simulation-grade, the handling is fun and energetic — though certain car classes can feel floaty at times.

Customization and Cars
Vehicle customization is a highlight of Heat. • Deep visual customization: body kits, wraps, neons, exhaust tones • Performance tuning: engine swaps, suspension, ECU, and more • Over 120 licensed cars from major manufacturers • Style and performance customization feel meaningful and rewarding This is the most robust customization system the franchise has seen in years.

World and Atmosphere
Palm City offers a vibrant, neon-lit playground inspired by Miami. • Open-world map with diverse biomes: city, swamps, highways, and mountains • Day: clean visuals, sanctioned racing events • Night: neon glow, aggressive cops, outlaw energy • Dynamic weather adds depth to exploration The city feels alive, even if it lacks the density or emergent gameplay of larger open-world titles.

Progression and Economy
• Earn money during the day, Rep at night • Unlock upgrades, vehicles, and story missions • Heat level adds tension — higher heat = more cops, more Rep if you survive • Some grind is present in late-game progression, especially without online races Heat respects your time better than previous NFS titles but still walks the line between grind and reward.

Presentation and Audio
• Sleek, neon-drenched visuals • High-fidelity car models and effects • Licensed soundtrack featuring hip-hop, electronic, and Latin tracks • Police radio chatter adds tension during pursuits While the voice acting in the story is hit-or-miss, the overall presentation is stylish and sharp.

Conclusion
Pros: ✔ Thrilling street racing mechanics ✔ Outstanding car and visual customization ✔ Engaging day-night progression system ✔ Gorgeous world with strong visual identity Cons: ✘ Shallow story and forgettable characters ✘ Occasional AI rubberbanding ✘ Late-game grind without multiplayer friends Summary: Need for Speed Heat revitalizes the series with its unapologetic focus on street racing, player expression, and police chases. While not flawless, it delivers a stylish, high-octane experience that feels like a worthy successor to Underground and Most Wanted.

Awesome game to play with friends but can be very annoying how the rhino can take you out nearly instantly, little imbalance but hey ho they will say skill issue but overall amazing game to keep coming back to every now and again as races can be tedious as they are the same/route. but overall i rate it a solid 9.5/10
Game is 100%'d at time of this review.
3.5/10 Nothing to say about this game. Not that fun, basically boring. Least exciting racing game I've played probably. The drifting is the best part of the game (specifically in the RSR). The cops are tanks and OP, the way your car upgrades to be 100x better than all other racers youre racing against makes races not very challenging. The "challenge" comes from the activities and annoying ass cars getting in your way, or your car not controlling the way you tell it to It struggles to know what left or right means at times. The story is boring and pointless, the dialogue is cringe and is as if a 40 year old trying to be cool wrote it. Its just not a good fit for what it is. No point in the open world aspect or other stuff either. Just let me race, pick cool cars, upgrade the parts, and have fun. This just felt tedious to get through more than anything. About 9 hours~ of this was strictly going around for activities/collectables too. Also the insanely shrill tire screech sound of the cops if you have music on is ridiculous. Glad it stopped when I turned music off to not get my VODs muted. To clarify, I only bought and 100%'d the achievements in this game because it was 90% off, and because I had 2 achievements counting towards my AGCR due to a free weekend. (Getting 100% achievements in this game bumped my AGCR up 2%, from 73%-75%). Selling the "key to the map" for $5 is absurd too... imagine Batman Arkham series selling the riddler trophy locations... yeah its basically that. Got it for 50% off, but still feel scammed over it. Did not live up to my nostalgia of NFS.
Great NFS
- Buy it, when it's on sale. 70€ are ridiculous
Gameplay
Fun arcade racer. Lots of nice cars, ranging from vintage cars to supercars. Many types of races (sprints, offroad, drifting etc.). Great tuning and customization. 10/10
Story
The story is pretty good and engaging for a racing game.
Achievements
Acheviements are fun to strive for and guide you through the game. Story, collectibles, tuning and some challenges. 100% completion took me 38 hours.

I'll have to SADLY not recommended it to people who still haven't bought or tried the game just for your own good, it's definitely up to you whether you still wanna buy it or not but theres better choices like Forza, Unbound, Burnout and others. but here's my Pro and Cons; PRO -Game definitely does have quality, beautiful environments too -Game gets you addicted and engaged to the races if you probably like other arcade racing games like Forza and others. -Solid car lists -I'd say 6.5/10 storyline, if you can handle cringy dialogues go listen to the story of the game. -Game definitely runs well on low-mid end PCs and still look a bit okay (playable and manageable). -As I'm writing this, the total size is 34.4GB which is surprising for a open world game. -Just like other NFS Games, it's friendly with keyboard players, so you can compete with controller players. -They don't ban you for using glitches/exploit to farm money. -The playerbase are friendly CONS -Game forces you to use EA Origin Launcher which is already pretty controversial especially if you're a steam users. -Game cloud data sometime work sometime doesnt, so theres likely a chance for you to just randomly get a corrupted data progress and got reseted by EA for some odd reason despite theres "cloud data" -Like others NFS games, the ol' classic outrageous rubberbanding AI -NPC that roams the open world for some reason spawns quicker if you're driving on the wrong side of the road, and NPC likes to suddenly brake on purpose in the middle of the road just to ruin your races, just like GTA 5, I'd say it's best if you want to enjoy races or just dont wanna faces annoying NPC just go play solo/offline mode because the NPC behaviour are not that crazy. -EA abandon this game soooo quickly so yeah no QOL updates, not even a couple DLCs, they are focused on NFS Unbound. -You hate Need for Speed (2015) for it's weird and glitchy af handling? yeah that also exist in this game hence why people prefer to mod Heat. -The open world map is too flat if you do pay attention, and bad design for its already horrible handling so good luck lmao -The meta cars are not what you are expecting, so you might see a Mr. Bean car passing a mclaren/lamborghini. -Drift barely working the way you were hoping -You cant have revenge on the police just by ramming, you just have to outsmart either by going for stunts or just dont go too fast? -Sadly doesn't let you find a specific user that made a good wrap (who knows its your friend?), you're stuck with popular wraps. -No wraps with specific keyword, so yeah good luck trying to find a wrap that you actually liked lol or you just have to draw/design it yourself -too much NSFW wraps (no moderation) -Deluxe edition gives you 4 free cars to progress quicker, but the rep requirements are so bad, by the time you reached that level you probably already have spend too much on your primary car or just better performance. -Deluxe cars doesn't have customization 0/10 -Story are waaaaay too short -Heat 3/5 Races are so unfair for some odd reason. It's like your opponent is Wonder Of U smfh

Just from the first "race" I can tell this game is trash.

The characters talk like they're part of a knitting club. It's the most pathetic and cringe dialogue I've heard in a while. Way too positive. Maybe it gets better later on but honestly, I don't fee like finding out.
You drive slower than a dung beetle going up a hill. I felt absolutely no rush whatsoever that I would have felt from games like MW, Underground and Carbon as well any other game before it.
Soundtrack? What's that? Music to make your races awesome? Never heard of it.
Characters look like a gaggle of circus freaks rather than actual racers. If they wanted to make the game diverse, they should have just added a character creator so that we can make whatever we want. At least then the cringe will be our fault.
The bad guys are cartoonishly bad. At least in the previous series the cheese was good and enjoyable. Now I just want to throw my PC off a cliff every time they come on screen.
In the real first scene with your character you get to choose from several cars, but apparently the Camaro is off limits for some reason even though it's there as an option. As if insulting you with the first joyride of a "race" wasn't bad enough.
Again, the first race that is supposed to show you the full extent of the game and get you hyped up to play it so that you can reach this level has the most bland and pathetic map I've ever driven on. The Run was better than this crap and that game was bad.
Cops are braindead damage sponges. They barely qualify as special needs, let alone be a threat. In short, don't waste your time. Just go play the older games.

The game itself isn't that bad. The reason why I give a negative review is, they stopped supporting the G29 steering wheel. It used to work and now its recognized as an XBox Controller. Apparently installing a very old version of the Logitech GHub can fix it. I also use headphones and mouse from Logitech, therefore downgrading the software is not really an option. In short, I would expect EA to fix this, but they don't care. Thus, I don't recommend supporting this company.

⚠️ Major Flaws and Missteps 1. Shallow and Predictable Storyline Despite efforts to inject a gritty narrative, the story is paper-thin, filled with flat characters, cringe-inducing dialogue, and predictable plot beats. You play as a generic racer in a revenge-fueled fight against corrupt cops — a setup that fails to build any emotional investment. 2. Repetitive Gameplay Loop The day-night cycle is a neat concept (earn money in the day, REP at night), but it quickly grows stale. You’ll find yourself grinding the same races over and over, with little variation or meaningful challenge. Progression starts to feel like a chore rather than a thrill. 3. Police AI: Broken and Inconsistent Cops are a key part of Heat’s identity — but they're often either brain-dead easy to escape or frustratingly overpowered. One minute you’re breezing past cruisers, the next you're swarmed by teleporting, rubber-banding police cars that ignore physics. It kills immersion and makes chases feel more like a bug than a feature. 4. Handling and Physics Are All Over the Place Car handling is a confused mix of arcade and pseudo-simulation. Drifting feels floaty and unnatural, especially with cars that should grip the road. The inconsistent physics model often leads to bizarre crashes, unpredictable jumps, and awkward resets that interrupt the flow of a race. 5. Grind-Heavy Progression Upgrades and car unlocks require an immense grind, especially at higher REP levels. Without repeating the same high-REP night events, you’ll hit a wall — which makes unlocking better cars feel more tedious than rewarding. There's also a frustrating cap on how quickly you can progress without risking it all in a chase. 6. World Design Lacks Life Palm City looks decent in screenshots, but it feels soulless. The open world is large but strangely lifeless, with limited interaction or dynamic events. Traffic density is low, pedestrians are practically nonexistent, and environmental variety is minimal. There's little reason to explore beyond finding collectibles. 7. Multiplayer Is Bare-Bones Online play feels like an afterthought. There’s no real incentive to engage with others, and matchmaking is clunky. There's no true competitive structure, no ranked races, and limited social features. For a game that once thrived on rivalry (Most Wanted), this is a missed opportunity. 8. Bugs and Technical Issues While not unplayable, Heat launched (and still suffers) with numerous bugs — broken police interactions, UI glitches, and occasional crashes. Even years post-launch, many of these issues haven’t been fully resolved. 9. Weak Soundtrack While subjective, the game’s soundtrack lacks punch. Compared to Underground 2 or Most Wanted (2005), Heat’s music is forgettable, and it fails to enhance the adrenaline rush the game desperately tries to create.

PoS EA launcher. I don't see why a steam game needs to have EA launcher open to be able to play. Game seems fine but took me nearly 15 minutes to just launch game due to the clunky interface.

It's a fun game to play with friends once you get through all the issues and stupid starting experience. -The graphics are good if you manage to disable sharpening effects. -Vibes are cool. -Music is trash overall. -The open world map is fun. -Driving is slightly too simple for my taste. -The gameplay loop is great, with variety of game modes. -The UI is atrocious and essentially requires a gamepad. -The audio is great. -Car customisation is all good. -The story is there. I finished it, can't remember a single character. It's basically GTA, but the good guys are doing massive property damage and endangering the general public, and bad guys are cops who stepped over the line. When you think about it, the overall message kinda turns on itself. At least the bad cop doesn't drive a Tesla. I wanted to come back to the game as I saw it on a good sale, but just couldn't fight through the technical problems. Granted, I shouldn't have gone hard mode with Logitech steering wheel, but hey, it's the longest living racing franchise that started its life on PC, what could go wrong?.. I used it to play it a lot with DS4 controller and I remember even back then it was an awful starting experience when you were forced to finish the first race without even option to tweak any settings. Yeah, you can tweak the settings, until you get "did not finish" for the unpausable race and all your graphics tweaks get reset \o/ It's funny how the main menu is bound to TAB rather than ESC - just to confuse you a bit more. Now I tried to get back to it with an OLED display and G29 wheel. The loading screens were already an epilepsy inducing cancer to look at on my old IPS, but on 34" HDR OLED it's worse than theoretical inbred children Coco Melon and TikTok sperging out after taking a hit of cokefetamine at 4AM. I'm not light sensitive at all, but this game is about 5 times worse than the second worst offender when it comes to murder attempt by epilepsy. I never got the racing wheel to work properly BTW. I believe Logitech profile switching doesn't really work with the game in full screen, and borderless fullscreen doesn't allow to alt+tab - the game just stays on top. Alt+tabbing from exclusive full screen takes about 5 seconds, probably due to mismatch of refresh rate between the game and desktop. Unluckily, there is no way to set refresh rate in-game. So basically I'd have to use windowed mode if I were to set up the racing wheel binds, or try editing the ini file to match refresh rate. Part of blame is undoubtedly on Logitech Gaming Software, but hey, I don't have problems with Beam.NG Drive, so why should Neef For Speed, of all games, have so much issues with most ubiquitous racing wheels? I know it's not a racing sim but the most basic things are so redicilously broken. You can get past the problems and enjoy the game, but it's not a good singleplayer game anyway.

the graphics on this game are decent, and if u have played previous nfs games, this one is a good one as there is a mix of racing and cop chases. The cop chases are actually good as the ai knows how to do damage to you. I love this game, especially when its on sale. I highly recommend it.

Fun story line, driving feels better than unbound and the cops are more difficult, but with the right car outrunning them is easy as. I see people complain about how difficult the cops are, but that is why getting into cop chases are high risk, and they can often be avoided, getting distracted by other races in your night races and leaving you to zoom on ahead

Fast cars + day races + nighttime cop chases = a neon lit adrenaline rush. Perfect for anyone who thinks “drive fast, look cool”. The story feels a bit forgettable, and the AI cops sometimes get a little too clingy, but overall, it’s a fun ride for anyone who loves speed and style.

Speeding through the city like a maniac, dodging cops, and pretending you’re in an action movie; that’s the vibe here. Customize your ride until it looks cooler than you do, then crash spectacularly because, hey, style points don’t fix dents! 10/10 :)

This really is a great NFS, combining elements of my most favorite NFS games of all times: Underground, Underground 2, Most Wanted and Hot Pursuit. Technically it's still great to look at, even though it is almost 6 years old and it is not as large a cash grab as its successor Unbound. I'd say it's the better game of the two. Mostly because of Unbound's cartoonish graphics and the toxic, borderline abusive mass of expensive DLC. If you ask me, you should get Heat over Unbound anytime (especially when it is on sale!). I can only spot a few optimization issues, but that's to be expected from an EA title nowaday, I guess. You get a lot of very diverse cars. There is something everyone can enjoy, from legendary JDM cars to top notch Supercars. Also there is a lot of customization, both visually and performance wise. This game brings petrol burning excellence in its purest form, largely disregarding e-mobility to feed nostalgia with nice engine sounds and pretty optics. Gameplay is really intense. During the day you pursue your "Racing Career" and in the night you wage war on the cops. The latter being the most intense part of the game and probably what you will be doing most. Nights have high risk high reward gameplay, where you lose your progress for the night, if you are busted by the police. Kinda like the racing version of an extraction shooter. Don't expect too much of the "story" that's a bit of a downer. Also there is no option to "start over". I mean there isn't really the necessity to start over to replay the story, but I don't get why there is no option for that at all. Online Gameplay is really fun too! People are still playing and cruising around in flashy cars. So much fun to just tag along, chill, enjoy the graphics and hang out together. Apart from VOIP (which I don't use) there is a "Chat Wheel" that can be customized to include the most important lines. If you want to use it, I highly recommend customizing it from the get-go. To put it in a nutshell. If you're like me and miss the "old days of NFS" this might be for you. Maybe I'll meet you on the streets soon ;-)

Started the game to become a street racing legend. Ended up bankrupt from car repairs and hunted by cops with NASCAR training. Daytime: win races, earn money. Nighttime: lose sanity, get chased by police with psychic powers and rocket engines. I tried to escape in a 600-horsepower supercar. Cops caught me in a rusty SUV doing 80 uphill. Makes sense. Pros: ✅ Sexy cars ✅ Awesome customizations ✅ Police chases that feel like GTA on steroids Cons: ❌ Cops have faster cars than Elon Musk's imagination ❌ I spend more time flying off cliffs than actually racing Still better than my real-life driving. 9/10 would crash again. 🚓💨🔥

This game is a chore to play. The gameplay cycle, that Heat offer is sucking out all of the fun, that you potentially could have with driving in this game. Driving model is pleasing in itself, as long as you have well tuned car. However, you probably will have to struggle for a while, to get there, because to be able to buy the upgrade parts you not only have to earn money, but you need to have irritable “Respect” level which you can only get by fighting cops, or take part in illegal races(In heat you can also do legal races) in which cops will harass you. However cops part of the game is not like in your favourite 2005 Most wanted. Cops rubberband better than Rubberband Earl. You can’t run from them you can’t break them down because EA came up with great idea of deleting time breakers! And also, your car can break and Heat PD drive tanks, that look like Corvettes, so every hit you take, can literally take 20% of your HP and they do it a lot. If they catch you, or break your car down, then all of the hard work to get the respect points this night goes to waste. NFS Heat is basically “League of legends” of arcade racing games. Congrats EA. Another annoying thing about this game, is that you are basically always underspeced. All cars you race or cops have better whips than you do. All of those things overpower the positive parts of the game like aesthetics, which can be charming. Even after the years the game still looks well. However, unlike the visuals the soundtrack of the game is simply disappointing. It doesn’t have a vibe like some of the previous NFS had. It also doesn’t deliver quality most of the time. This game offer good choice of cars. You can find most of the popular choices of the cars that people would like to drive in games. However, getting them is not worth the effort, that this game demands. Rating 20/100

NFS: Heat is still bogged down by the same problems the modern iterations of this series has. Annoying-personality-vacuum at best and forgettable at worst characters, nonsensical car unlocking progression, customization that, *while impressive,* relies on putting much more effort into to get something pleasing without just downloading someone else's livery, horrible UI/UX and insanely easy AI opponents. Not to mention this horrible early shifting of the automatic gearbox mode when driving any car with an upgraded engine from a full-throttle start, and has an obsession with forcing drift build cars into the next gear when that's the opposite of what you want mid-slide. What this game does great however, are it's looks (art-style too, not just graphically), vehicle variety and atmosphere. The music I didn't gel too well with so I muted it for my own playlist, but I found myself making an entirely new playlist just for night driving and races purely because of how gorgeous the game looks. The light coronas, neon reflections, all combined with raindrops flying off the cars at speed all culminate in one of the most simple yet aesthetically pleasing racing games without feeling like it's trying hard to impress you. While getting caught in pursuits is nowhere near as punishing as the height of this series with 2005's Most Wanted, the chases themselves are the perfect opposite of MW. That game's cops could be plowed right through if given enough speed and front bumper placement, not to mention the OP-ness of the slo-mo feature. Heat on the other hand goes in the opposite direction of making cop vehicles tanky whilst making your car weaker than you might initially expect, and it brings the kind of tension to pursuits of all heat levels you didn't really get in MW until after heat level 3. Yes, you can still just ram right through cop cars with the right speed, positioning and your own vehicle health, but every move feels important when you car can lose 1/3rd of it's health if you miscalculate a single action and not just if you're going fast. Every maneuver you execute can lead to your escape or your capture. My biggest criticism however is despite the game finding plenty of opportunities to shower you in cash, the only punishment for being busted is a large reduction in Rep earned that night, a small cash fine and if you can't pay the fine in full they'll just take all the cash you have. No impound strikes, no eventually impounding your car, no permanent heat increases, nothing that actively feels like the system is fighting back on me for continuing to push against the cops. So while this might be more punishing than MW in the short-term, it's way more forgiving in the long-term. I would've thought that with the extraordinary amounts of cash you can earn from races that you would quickly be forced with the decision whether or not to re-purchase a car you once had but got impounded from one-two-many mistakes but no such system exists. Which is especially confusing as the game's story is about the cops illegally impounding cars from racers! Such a massive missed opportunity. I also can't stress how little sense the car unlocking progression makes. To unlock one of the worst cars in the game, an old Volvo literally used as a joke at the end of the campaign, you have to reach level 20. Despite it being literally made fun of by the game itself, you still have to earn the right to purchase a shitbox. Yes, you can upgrade it to the point of it making all story missions a complete breeze to beat fairly quickly after unlocking it, but it's still viewed by the playerbase as a complete meme car. The vast majority of it's liveries made by the community were either IKEA sponsored Ricer designs, or variations of rust-buckets with mud dripping down the windows. And yet you can only participate in the fun once you reach level 20. Out of 50. Absolutely ridiculous. Also a minor, but massively annoying problem; you can only sell your cars in a specific and obtuse menu. You can't sell any of the cars from the garage but instead have to go to the showcase tab, toggle it to show your cars rather than your crew's (online clan/group), put the car you want to sell into one of those showcase slots from the garage and then hit the sell car option. There's no reason why it has to have all those steps. It's just stupid and tedious, and you'll want that sell button when your garage is getting filled with preset cars you can't customize the looks of (not counting the 'Hero' cars based on iconic cars from previous games in the franchise). Pick it up if you're looking for a solid racing game that actually has some form of risk vs. reward systems that make cop chases exciting without being all that punishing, and if you love the neon-soaked night aesthetics.

absolutely garbage game with police that make the game unbearable. complete dumpster fire mechanics overshadow amazing driving feel and excellent car customization. this game will have you waste hours of your life praying that upgrading your car will help you escape the cops, only for a crown vic to rubber band up to your speed and ruin any fun you thought you were starting to have.

I wish I could enjoy this game, but getting it to work especially in linux is extremely painful, and even after heavy optimizations it still stutters a lot. i definitely have a good enough gpu (Nvidia 1660Ti) and an i5 9th gen processor. it still stutters and the audio chops a lot too. i thought this game's requirements were much lower than mine? even under the lowest settings it still stutters. i fucking hate the ea app and this laggy experience has ruined my overall review of this game. i loved nfs heat on my ps4 and i got it for pc for online experience but it seems i cant enjoy that. also, the final nail in the coffin is that you need to load ea launcher first BEFORE launching the game every time. IT TAKES ME 3 WHOLE MINUTES JUST TO START UP THE GAME! definitely refunding this game, even though i got it 90% off. i dont recommend this game for people just meeting the requirements, this game's optimization is very bad, creating a very buggy mess. FUCK EA!

Enjoyable, brings back memories of NFS Underground 2, cars can be upgraded, races during the day get you money, night races are for reputation, rep is what increases you level so you can get more stuff (cars and upgrades). There is a story unfolding while you progress. Car handling is enjoyable, arcade, but fun. Graphics are really good, sound as well. You can actually tune the exhaust sound of the cars. Overall, 9/10 for being a game that keeps you interested in progressing in career (even in offline mode, you can always choose).

it requires you to download the ea launcher and the launcher sucks so I don't recommend it. I got it for free glad I didn't give them my money

its very good game with realistic environment with this high end graphics but i think the story was too quick for me i want it to expand on it more more cars should be included but yh there was alot of cars that was impressive. I guess this game is good choice to play on for street racing taking time and griding to unlock higher level and more powerful cars

Fun, handling physics needs a bit of time to get used to, but generally the game itself packed with action and have things to do after completing the main campaign. Kinda wish EA won't stop updating it tho

I haven't had much time to play yet, and I haven't really progressed much through the stages, just explored the map. But the positive point of this game, in my opinion, is that the feeling of customizing cars is like Carbon or Most Wanted 2005. I like its loading screens, especially when you change day and night or enter the garage. The music is good. The gameplay is good too. My only problem is that it uses my CPU at 90% or even more.

I get to race my white Testarossa against my fiancé in fictive EA Miami and enoy it. Vice flavor.

Do not buy this. Most of the basic features of this game do not work (anymore.) You can't even select "settings" on gamepad, m+k, or wheel (it's underneath "play solo" but you cannot go down and select it) so you cannot change the controls or difficulty. By default on wheel, accelerate is linked to the PAUSE button! You cannot alter this, due to settings being blocked off. There's a voice that says "press y for accessibility options" and I tried this out of curiosity, it doesn't work either. Good luck.

This isn't a bad entry in the Need for Speed series. The story is mediocre, the music is garbage, and the NPC commentary can be pretty cringe. That said, the visuals are impressive, the tuning options are solid, the map is decent, and the races are enjoyable. Overall, it's a good NFS game.

Turned the music off after 30 minutes and now the game is playable, never in my life have i experienced anything like this music. Most of the time there is some sort of earrape where 2 or more tunes are played simultaneously from left and right. Might be some sort of bug, it has to be. Otherwise i will never comprehend why anyone would pick this music unless it's royalty free. TL;DR - 5/5 great game.

Would I recommend it? Well, yes, but it is not the best NFS game out there, the graphics are a big let down from a previous games in the series (BTW grab the UNITE mod, so you can properly enjoy it with good graphics), gameplay is pretty much the same as previous games, although some new stuff had been added compared to previous games, still the game is not that much fun to me, as hard as I tried to continue playing and finish it, I easily got bored of it.

Game was too easy on Medium, so I had to switch to Hard and tried tuning below recommended power level. Then it soon became too hard, but I realised it didn't even matter for the game which place I got... so why play? You can't switch controls on gamepad, so if you want to race in Manual you have to shift with LB+RB while accelerating and braking on the Triggers... and let's not talk about the disgusting story and characters.

Very enjoyable, a little tougher but the whole style takes me back to Payback. The city is just more dense and you can play at night as well as day

This game is perfectly fine, but the story is just a cringe fest. Genuinely made me roll my eyes at some points.

Literally the worst optimized game I have ever run. I have a nice, modern gaming pc and even on low quality this thing cooks my entire room, something max settings cyberpunk does not do. had to reinstall just to get it to start. What I did play before getting heat stroke really wasn't worth it.

This game goes hard at night. You should consider buying it, especially if its discounted. I can 100% say it won't disappoint.
