The Ringed City is the true final chapter of the Dark Souls series doesn’t just close the curtain on the series it rips it down, sets it on fire, and throws you into the ashes. From the moment you step into the crumbling remnants of time itself, everything feels bigger, heavier, and more apocalyptic The level design is amazing Every corner hides ambushes, secrets, or lore The enemies here are no joke. They hit harder, swarm faster, and punish hesitation. And the bosses are Absolutely legendary. New weapons, miracles, and armor give you more toys to play with, but make no mistake this is the endgame. Brutal, beautiful, and unforgettable. The Age of Fire may fade, but this DLC burns bright.

It's short, and a drag. You don't even realize when it's done, you keep looking for the next area.

When compared to Ashes of Ariendel, Ringed City looks like gold next to tin. When you access it is just done better than AoA. You either get to the DLC by reaching the main games final area, or defeating Sister Friede. The areas are better, excluding the Dreg Heap (screw those angels), and the bosses are a whole lot better. Darkeater Midir is the best dragon fight in any FromSoft title and Slave Knight Gael might just be the best fight in any FromSoft title. The Demons/Demon Prince are a solid boss but can be a bit obnoxious (summoning the damn spirit bomb to nuke you), and Halflight is just 3 NPCs and a giant, or an invader w/ 2 NPSs and a giant. The progression through the area is more fluid compared to AoA and the bosses are a lot better. Great finish to the franchise, with a handful of annoyances.
