Worth every Penny and more, if you looking for a F1 " Arcadey / Outrun " type game and want to Support Ayrtons Legacy this is it! Car customization in Championship: Grip, Speed or Extra Boost.

A ton of content for a very fair price, and you can feel the studio's passion and respect for their home hero every step of the way. Can't go wrong with this one if you liked the base game.

The base game is good, but this DLC is awesome. You get a no hassle Formula 1 arcade game, where you can play international tournaments with many different teams. You also get a first person camera that's not in the base game. To top it off, you get a campaign where you can re-live the career of legendary driver Ayrton Senna. The only down sides to this are the cartoony physics (cars get no damage, and crashes only slow you down) and the lack of a more robust "career" gameplay, but both things are understandable knowing that Horizon Chase Turbo is an arcade game with limited depth and cartoony physics. This DLC really made the purchase worth it for me. I was a F-1 fan for a short while as a kid, and I did see Senna race once, in Mexico City's Grand Prix, so I really enjoy re-living those days.

Unfortunately, the DLC does not expand the actual gameplay loop. So if you are looking for the same thing after the campaign, but with new tracks, you are very well served here. In the store it says, “Choose your race strategy before the race”, but in the game it says choose one of the 3 perks. But the choice is easy because the one with more handling is actually always the best choice. The cars also don't drive significantly differently, which would make you notice the new 34 playable cars.

After being half way through the Career i can say it's a good DLC and well worth the Price. I was never a big fan of Formula 1 but i had that 1 Game on the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive, i believe it was F1 World Champioship or something like that, and this DLC puts me right back there. The Senna Marks put a little bit spice into the game and for people like me who need to get that darn Gold Trophy it's a nice challenge. The Strategy you can choose before the race is a nice addition to the game. The DLC is challenging, but not too hard in my opinion, at least as far as i came till now. The feeling of the Speed is amazing and the VIsuals are nice. You can see that there went a lot of work and love and passion into the DLC as you can recognize all the F1 tracks and Teams, without official lincensed names of course, but you can see the devs did their homework. This DLC is a nice tribute to Ayrton Senna and a very well executed piece of Arcade Racing Software.

A fun Formula-1-themed DLC that mixes up the base gameplay with a few reinterpreted elements and also teaches the player a thing or two about Ayrton Senna. You can tell that the developers really cared about honoring him. Whether you're interested in Formula 1 or not, get this game if you want more of what you love about Horizon Chase.

This game was already great and nostalgic. And now it can give me feels of Senna Monaco GP from the Genesis. Nostalgia aside, the new racing mode is actually even better than the standard game. The positioning of Nitros and Fuel in the new tracks is more interesting, the "racing strategy" bit is a nice little extra, and the racing has less bumping. Excellent DLC for an excellent game.

Great addition to the base game, introducing 80s and 90s F1 tracks and cars. It has a fun campaign with decent playtime which is perhaps more on the easy side, but certainly an entertaining re-telling of Senna's F1 career. The tournament mode is great and possibly one of the best ways to experience 80s/90s F1 these days. The racing itself is just as tight and juicy like in the main game, just with generally pretty high speeds and (arguably) more interesting race tracks. Can certainly recommend for any fans of the base game!

More of the same and as scripted as ever, but still fun. Achievements are easy, only the Legendary tournament might offer a bit of difficulty. I never understood the obsession with Senna but obviously I'm not Brazilian.

The F1-flavored DLC. As others have noted, the headlining Senna Forever mode puts you in one car for the whole game and asks you to pick a perk before each race, of which 95% of the time you're picking steering. Championship Mode is an interesting improvement on the Tournament/Endurance modes from the base game. The new tracks and music are fun. A sensible and worthwhile addition to the base game

A great DLC and way to add Formula 1 cars and classic real life tracks to Horizon Chase Turbo. For Senna fans it pays homage and accurately represents the rise of a legend and his stories, while for casual players, who aren't big into motorsports, it's a 4-8h of extra content for ONLY €6. If you want more Horizon Chase Turbo, then this is a must!

It's great! It's just as I'd hoped - kind of more of the same, but the F1 cars feel faster. It seems a bit harder to win as well which I usually find annoying but in this it still feels fair. The race challenges are fun too. All in all, really impressed so far EDIT: Just completed it - I was not disappointed - really fun and just keeps drawing you on for one more race! The challenge aspects in each race, in addition to just winning, are really good too. Buy it. Just buy it.

Absolutely love this DLC. This feels like the direction that Horizon Chase was always destined to go. The races are intense and I like the customization before each race so you can tailor your car just how you want it. I especially love the first-person view, and for a Formula 1 themed DLC, I feel like you have to do the first-person view to get the full experience. My only criticism would be the same as the base game's content, namely that it's mostly too easy. The Senna's Marks challenges in the story mode can almost always be done all in one go. I rarely had to redo a race to achieve them all. Likewise, the tournament modes are not that difficult -- I had the Legend tournament clinched with 3 races to go on my first attempt. Still, if you like Horizon Chase in its base form, you should definitely pick this up.

This game is usually tough and the dlc makes it even tougher but it's worth it...every position is stressful to maintain lol

I'm personally very disappointed in this DLC. Not only was it overpriced in my opinion for what you get, but the fact that you need to buy this in order to 100% the game is what just added more insult to injury. I felt that they didn’t add anything new for the game at all, and all that you receive is 15 tracks which you keep replaying with different strategies, handling, top speed and acceleration, and lastly, fuel econmy. The races aren't that hard, but you still need to complete some random quests per race which was the only "new feature" that this DLC brought to the game. I loved completing the challenges and the new first person view, but that still didn't feel like it is worth the price for the DLC.

F1 died with Senna - This game is a wonderful little tribute to his legacy. It is hard to comprehend just how much he meant so some people, not just in Brazil, but worldwide. He died not long after I was born yet somehow his impact still lives on and he continues to inspire people to chase their dreams, regardless of where they were born. That alone is inspiring as hell. Recommend giving the homage by top gear a watch (Easily found on youtube), it's not long but it will really let you further appreciate not only this game, but just what Senna symbolises. In saying all that, the same issue in the the main game is made worse in this DLC by the wider cars and narrower tracks with tighter corners.. bumping into other racers becomes the biggest hurdle by far and is exceedingly punishing, it won't ever happen to the AI and the ones in pole positions all seem to follow the exact same path on a corner. Still a great little DLC worth your time.

In contrast to the base game, this is not a fun DLC. It might be great for those passionate about Senna, but it revolves around playing the same new tracks over and over with a combination of a small and easy subset of achievements (marks). The base-game tracks are not reused when playing this DLC, and since the new tracks are themed around F1, they all feel and look the same. I played the whole DLC, and I *feel* like I played at most 5 different tracks, although I think this DLC adds more than that. Unless you want to 100% the game or want the new F1 cars, you'd better stick to the base game and other DLCs.

The expansion largely offers more of the same, but that’s not much of an issue when the core gameplay is so enjoyable. And with each purchase helping to support Senna’s charity, there’s even more incentive The only thing really bothering me: The Campaign is a full co-op experience where you can take 1-3 more players and experience the story in co-op Mode. Nowadays F1 Races are also made of two drivers per brand (Porsche, McLaren etc.) so I don't see the reason to not atleast give me a 2 player Co-Op. There are two modes available: Campaign where you play in a Single-player experience (Ayrton Senna) and drive yourself to the best one there ever was and do some challenges (Coins, missions etc.) along the way. The second mode is championship with the unpredictability of randomized weathers, tracks and competitors - that mode is fully playable in co-op so there's that. If I would rate this DLC I would glady give it a 9/10 since it's more of the same from the main game covered in F1 Race Cars and tracks but because of the lack of co-op (my brother and I only finished the championship mode) I would give this game a 7/10 because that is what made the game so special for me - the co-op arcade feeling of racing. I probably won't finish the singleplayer aspect of it. It's clear they put a lot of effort into this, and that the subject matter meant a lot to the developers. There's a lot of content here and it's all fun. The price is just right. My only complaint would be wanting there to be more crossover with the base game ... like the first-person mode, for instance. That'd be rad. Still, great DLC.

Awesome add on. Its a must buy for any F1 fan. The tracks are well done, just wished the Hockenheim themed track had more trees around the long straights. The car models & colour schemes look great and the helmets are a nice new touch. Plus the in car camera brings a new way to play the game!

Speaking form a brazilian heart: What an amazing DLC So much care was put into this, more than 20 80s and 90s F1 cars were modeled, the teams shift just like the years pass and the changed in real life, it is easy to recognize the real teams, drivers from their real counterparts. All tracks that were created follow the real layout of their F1 counterparts. And it certainly follow the major events of Senna's career, giving context on the man and his life. The arcade style plus the new camera that was created for this DLC reminded me of the Senna game for the Megadrive. A talented team that loves Senna and loves arcadey games like this.

It's like a whole new game. I love playing as Senna, one of my idols, and I really enjoy the first person view. Very well worth the price.

very disappointing DLC , didn’t add anything new for the game at all , all we have are 15 tracks that you will keep replaying in the Camping , they also said " Choose your Race Strategy before the race " but all you have is 3 perks and even the choice isn’t that hard , although i loved the challenges and the first person , but that didn’t save the DLC for me , i hope the dev think more about their next DLC and make it something new not just to copy the main game experience but with different cars.

Was a bit dissapointed with the "OutRunner" DLC (Summer Vibes) expecting it to be real OutRunner clone for the DLC, turn out it's nothing but a reskin the whole gameplay is 100% Horizon Chase. With convertible car and couple of new tracks. This, however feels different enough, different theme, different cars, new tracks, handling feels very different and can even change the camera inside the car. It's not Virtua Racing per se; it's still Horizon Chase. Let's just say, 70% Horizon Chase and 30% Virtua Racing. Do recommend this one. It's cheap anyway.

I am huge Ayrton Senna's fan but unfortunately can't reccomend this game. The idea was really good, and I really like graphics, atmosphere, cars and tracks design... but at the same time I didn't find this game challenging and interesting enough. The campaign is quite easy and gameplay is boring. On the tracks you don't need to use brakes because almost all corners you can drive on full throttle. There's no qualify session and pit-stops. In general, the F1's competitive spirit is not felt. Maybe for children it can be interesting challenge but not for me. And as we know Ayrton Senna was absolutely the best in qualify session and 65 times started from pole-position. But in this game he always starts the last. It's just ridiculuos.

The DLC is pretty big – in contrast to summer vibes (which did also cost less) there are new cars and new tracks. The handling and graphics remain similar to the main game: Arcade, with simple shapes and strong colors, similar to early 90s racing games. In contrast to the base game, all races are now formula 1 styled. This means the cars have less variety (obviously they all F1 cars!) but they still vary in their stats. Fitting the theme, you can't change your car’s color which is determined by your team/car brand. Senna is the only real-life name in the game, everything else (Tracks, Brands, Names) is modified to not resemble their real-life counterparts too much. The (Brasilian) developers seem very enthusiastic about Senna and the story mode retells Senna’s career. However, one does not need to be a Senna- or 80s/90s F1 enthusiast to enjoy the story mode or the game.

Enjoying this more than the base game. And part of the price goes to charity in the form of the Senna Foundation. Go watch the film Senna if you haven't. You'll appreciate this more. And it's fantastic even if you're not an F1 fan.

[h1] Cars can't be used in base game or vice versa! [/h1] Senna Forever stuff can't be used outside of it's mode & vice versa. So unless you like exclusively using those 6-ish vehicles that are just glorified recolors of each other, on some of the most boring uninspired tracks in the game to date don't get this dlc. Also, this DLC is REQUIRED to 100% the game's achievements. Side note the Base Games Local Leaderboards are broken, so if you wanted to name you and your friend "Jimmy" & "Carl" you will be disappointed as you find out you are stuck as "Horizon Chaser" & "Player 1 2 2"

If you care about F1 and Senna, this is easily better than the base game. I had a blast throughout.

Greedy devs cashing in on a late, great racing icons name in the hopes of more sales. Pathetic and this isn't worth Senna's name being attached. Devs should be ashamed.

1st place Formula '90's-style Arcade Racer'-DLC World Championship 2021.

This DLC is terrible, to lock the main campaign to one player when the rest of the game has been completely co op sucks. Until this DLC is fully co op it will remain down voted by me.

Incredible DLC that takes you on a journey to relive Senna's legacy. Difficulty is well-balanced and Senna's Marks will bring something new to the table for those who like an extra challenge. I also liked the three upgrade options before each race - unlike in Endurance where you needed to build a monster car little by little with all the upgrades, in Senna Forever each race gives you the option to choose one of three upgrades. This made things a little more interesting for me, as there were some tracks that were clearly designed to take advantage of one upgrade or another. Aside from career mode, there is also a championship mode. The price is very fair for the amount of content received. Also: NEW STEAM ACHIEVEMENTS! HELL YEAH! If you love F1 racing and you love Horizon Chase Turbo, this DLC is a must-have. Kudos to the devs!

That is amazing! It is a wonderful tribute to Senna with a certain touch (small touch) of RPG or adventure atmosphere in the Career Mode. The strong point - the feeling of speed. However the fuel does not apparently interfere with weight and the deepest crashes/bumps do not slow the car down as much. I also had a problem with the Steam Controller - the camera was changing frequently automatically, I do not know if it was because of some configuration in Steam Controller. The circuit in Germany is very beautiful! I did not get to explore the Career Mode too much but I think it could be more complete, more RPG and less arcade. I was not disappointed, but I had the expectation that there could be more changes to the car (car builds) and more "dialogues". For the price, it is really worth it, even for people who don't really like cars or formula 1 (maybe 20% off of the standard will be a fair price). I personally believe that cars are a thing of the past for reasons of urbanity and the environment - and that is why we have video games to immerse us in speed safely!

WHAT!! This is amazing! The documentary Senna was one of two reasons I started watching F1 just a few years ago... So to have this DLC come to a game that I sometimes enjoy on race day is just special for me. This is essentially an F1 game within the boundaries of HCT: - Senna campaign, play through Ayrton's many career moments. It appears to be several "seasons" with a handful of races per. - Championship campaign, choose from 1 of 10 cars (all with unique stats) and get to racing a 6, 9, or 12 race season. It doesn't sound like a lot, but I've definitely gotten less from more expensive DLC. For an already fantastic game, this is an excellent DLC and worth the price!!! As an F1 fan I literally couldn't have asked for more. You will not be disappointed. Happy to support the devs on this one and continue the legend of Senna. I think I'm going to finally pick up Summer Vibes too because I'm just so in love with the fact that this Senna Forever DLC is a thing. By purchasing this you will support the Ayrton Senna Institute! Since I first played Horizon Chase Turbo, I've been wishing for an F1 DLC. They made it, and it's great.

Também dá pra desbloquear a música de vitória do Ayrton Senna apertando 3x cima 3x baixo no menu de campanha de carreira dessa DLC. Também exclusivo pra esse modo (carros e circuitos de fórmula 1), incluíram a visão em primeira pessoa, que dá pra ativar e desativar dentro da corrida.
