Very pretty game, not very long, and extremely easy. Definitely an art-first game. The dialogue is just silly. I love the designs of the weird monsters and some of the puzzles are pretty interesting. Some of the art and music kind of blew my mind. There's also parts of the gameplay that felt lackluster, especially if you play puzzle platformers a lot. Still, the variety of game mechanics here is truly impressive. I absolutely adore the frog level with the giant bugs. I was on the fence but overall I think it's worth the price.

Absolutely spectacular. The sheer originality bursting forth from this game... I am in awe right now. The Multi-Medium is every bit as amazing as the trailer makes it look. For mostly the work of one developer, this is a triumph of creativity if there ever was one. Not only is the presentation stellar in every single aspect, the diversity in the levels was breathtaking and unpredictable in all the best ways. Couple all this with tight controls and gameplay that is super fun and wonderfully engaging. The cryptic nature of the game's story only contributes to the incredible mystique this game has. I didn't really understand the ending, yet I still felt a sense of closure as the credits rolled. Yeah, the game is on the shorter side, but every single second was a joy. And there is no question I will be doing multiple playthroughs of this game for years to come. It truly is a special work of art that deserves to be known and acknowledged. To Micah Boursier - thank you for you gracing us with your creation. I look forward to all your future game development endeavors and hope your works reach a wider audience. The world needs original creative minds like yourself more than ever now...

Very much enjoyed this short platformer! The game itself is pretty simple, but the art styles are really nice. Still, I can't help but feel they could have pushed the concept a little further. Whilst the game ran great on Steam Deck for most of the game, the final level really struggled to run and dropped my framerate to a stuttering 24fps.

I generally try to avoid impulse-buying games, especially games I’ve never heard of before. But when I stumbled across the trailer for this one in my YouTube recommendations, I almost immediately went to Steam and bought it. Luckily I did not regret this decision. Made by Micah Boursier, the same developer as BirdGut, this relatively short (2 – 3 hours) platformer follows an unnamed explorer sent to test a new interdimensional-traveling suit. Unfortunately for him, he can’t seem to find his way home. Each world he travels to is based on a different artistic medium, with everything – the characters, the environments, the puzzles, and the enemies/bosses – being made by Micah entirely by hand in that medium. I just love how each world has such a distinct identity in terms of look, mechanics, and even the feel of the music. It’s never a particularly hard game (although a couple of the bosses caused me some trouble), but there is a lot of creativity on display throughout. The protagonist also has a much more interesting arc than I was expecting at the beginning as well. All-in-all, I adored this game.
