Ghostrunner - Project_Hel

You should buy this dlc. It's fun as hell and game play between both Hel and Jack are different the story is quite good and it's fast paced game play is fun.

Tad short for $15, bit of a confusing plot, but HEL herself is pretty funny and if you liked the base game, you'll probably like this, I thought it was a fun romp

Project Hel is a bit too expensive for what it is. Should be like 10 bucks. You basically lose most of your skills and your grapple and replace that with a finnicky long jump and a cooler in air tactical dash that let's you do wild things. The story is fine, the game is relatively short ... and there is NO assist mode here. You DO get a 2nd life, but only when your "rage" bar is high enough. It's mostly more of the same, you just play as Hel instead of Jack. Not sure it's worth it for the story, either. I can already see where this is going. It's a bit too on the nose. The new flying mine layer enemies are extremely annoying. Hel's long jump means you can very easily overshoot targets and have to correct with the air dash. That one IS really helpful, it's like a targeted jump, not just a dash. The first boss fight is just ridiculous. Flying mine layer boss that in phase 2 spawns an endless amount of jumping enemies that you have to kill, WHILE avoiding the mines, WHILE using your thusly filled rage bar to hit the guy mid aid ... oh, have I already mentioned that you can't ever stand still and aim for even a second, because there's constantly enemies jumping at you and mines exploding underneath you? And that the flying boss is very small, hard to track and constantly on the move? And if you miss you just have to do it over and over again? And you have to hit him like 8 times? Fuuuuuuuuuuuuunnnnnnn. That just made me wish for the parry phase again. At least that one had rhythm to it ... and a fair check point. There is NO check point in phase 2 and I'm salty.

At first i felt it was too short for its price, then after doing all the achievements i gotta say it is a fine addition to the base game, and the soundtrack is insane. It is definately more Ghostrunner, and that is a remarkable game!
