MORDHAU - Supporter Pack

This 11-man dev team produced the definitive melee combat game. Their launch didn't go super well, with a few critical systems crumbling under the stress of this game's success... But they fixed nearly all game-breaking bugs in under a week. They've already rolled out massive improvements to stability and server performance. Again, this is an 11-man dev team, not a AAA studio. Earnestly impressed.

I bought this because: 1. All three armor classes are immediately available. The earliest versions aren't the coolest looking, but you can get the armor setup you want immediately. And every weapon can be bought for a comparative pittance of gold. And speaking of gold ... 2. None of the in-game items require or can even be optionally bought with real money. Everything can only be bought with gold, which you earn from fighting; and AFAIK, gold earned is based off [b]your[/b] performance, not your team's, so you're not penalized for idiocy. 3. The gold cost of items is very reasonable, meaning you don't have to grind for ages to get that sweet helmet you want. A few of the fanciest things, like the full gothic plate armor, do require you to have reached a high level, so that'll take a bit more time, but looking like a boss [b]ought[/b] to require you to have spent time learning the game. So if you see someone who looks super fancy coming at you on the field, odds are good that they fight as well as they look. So yeah. I bought this because the devs knocked this one out of the park, and I wanted to support them for doing a great job.

Great looking items and great to support the devs more. But could we PLEASE get a version of the medallion that occupies the neck slot rather than the shoulder slot? I want to wear it with different pauldrens

This amazing game is developed by a team of 10 people only and it's much more fun than many AAA titles. Support them if you can, it's a good investment and they deserve it.

In an era of games where DLC and microtransactions come before the base game, I will support developers who are passionate and make great fucking games like this masterpiece. You should too.

What I really love about this game is that even if you aren't the best at combat, you can still rack up points being an engineer and fortifying locations and repairing walls, or even a medic dropping medical supplies for your brothers in arms. In the meantime you will get better at combat just by defending yourself. This is my favorite game and it is the 1st game I think about when I open Steam! LOVE THIS GAME!

Purchased to support the developers, as the core game is fantastic. This item pack is very underwhelming though, it would be made much better if the medallion could be work in the neck slot, as equipping it currently means you are unable to wear any shoulder armour along with it.

As everyone else has said, this is here not because it's "worth" the added content, because because the game is worth more than the price. It's a great game with many hours worth of game play.

TL:DR - Bought this pack to support this amazing game! but not for the abysmal in-game cosmetics. If you want to support the development of Mordhau, then I'd RECOMMEND buying this. The soundtrack and player banner is great and worthwhile, but the same can't be said for the wearable cosmetics. Don't understand the choice of making the NECKlace Medallion a Shoulder item for god sake! needs to be a Neck item so you can also equip it with a Shoulder item. Would have also made this purchase far more worthwhile if you're given more wearable cosmetics. A full exclusive kit of armor (be it cosmetic, light, medium or heavy) could be great incentive for supporting the game. If not then even exclusive weapon skins, emblem and/or color schemes would have been appropriate.

Purchased this supporter pack in hopes that it will feed the creators crippling marijuana addiction, also I want my own damn boots.

This game is awesome, I but this just to support them, though it's actually better to buy the game off their official website, so steam doesn't take the cut of their money

Here,s the thing, AAA studios are pushing "recurrent user spending" and leave the actual players wishing for more content they did not have to pay for using real money. I was expecting similar "recurrent user spending" tactics with this game. I ended up buying it on a whim while it was on sale, Everything was better than I could have hoped for. The game play is on point. Its battle field midevil times without any micro transactions. I am a huge souls fan, the combat is excellent and will keep me pushing to master the brutality of the fighting system. The game modes are great, midevil conquest which is called frontlines, is my favorite. Overall this game has something to off for everyone. I bought the supporter pack to show that I appreciate the work they put into this game. $30 for this game will be the best 30 you've probably spent on a game in a long time.

I just purchase the DLC. Somehow it appears that the recent 10k gold compensation overlap the file which I should receive for this chain (I got this compensation message again after I install the DLC). It's true that I want to support the devs but its sad that I couldn't get the cosmatic right away. I hope this issue can be solved.

Bought ir to support the devs team. They've made an amazing game, and even tho it's not finished yet, they are going in the right direction with every update they release. I think I'm talking for almost the entire community when I say: "We want more content (maps, game modes, and cosmetics), tools for server hosting, and mod support", but I believe we'll be there soon enough. Also, this game with the right mods could be the best Star Wars game ever.

It's a supporter pack. You don't buy it because of what you get. You buy it because you think the developers deserve more money than they're charging.

For how small of a team the company has, the price of the game, and the replayability... 10/10 no brainer to add to the library.

I got this because I do want to support this great game. I understand the detractors, and I was on their side until I bought it. Though some may still say no even after buying, I say you should get this when you are satisfied with Mordhau. It's basically a better Chivalry: Medieval Combat. I can only wish now that they implement some real time strategy element into the game, or for the next iteration.

Remember people, this is a supporter pack! Buy this if you want to support the devs and not for cometics. People here are complaining its underwhelming or its a waste of money but THIS IS IF YOU WANT TO SUPPORT THE DEVS and just getting something little back.

It's literally a 60 dollar game for 30 bucks. I'd support these guys and you should too. Also its a pretty styling shoulder piece. You buy...Yes?

I was glad to support the developers of such a game. «Chivalry: Medieval Warfare» and «Mount & Blade» stand out. I've been looking for a medieval hack and slash for a long time. The music is epic and matchless. Especially the percussion sections. I still listen it to this day.

You're probably not gonna use the medallion cause there's a cosmetic with the medallion+pauldrons. The only thing you'll use is the banner, which you'll switch out after about 100h of play time(when you unlock other banners). But I guess it's still worth it cause it helps fund the devs so I recommend buying this if you're gonna play this game for a long time and you wanna see the game do really well.

UPDATED REVIEW: As I promised, this DLC is a proper way to show support to the developers for the game they developed, if you wish to do it. It is in no way game-changer and it is cosmetics only, which I like as well. The old problem has been fixed, so buying these items will immediately show in your inventory. OLD REVIEW: I want to support developers for this game, I love it, but the DLC items described have never been delivered to my account. I will update this review once I do.

i'm hooked. my m8's recommended this game and i was skeptical - i never played chiv. I'm really glad they did, it truly is an amazing game worthy of support. would've been cool if they included some armor or weapon skins in the supporter pack, it's not like it would be pay to win being that all of that is just skins.

Don't bother reviewing much but I felt like I should. This is the game I wanted For Honor to be. It's brutally difficult to pick up but a few hours in I can feel myself getting better little by little. The game feels rewarding and is priced great. It is a good product with no insane microtransaction bullshyt.

A small dev team who stands up to pressure of liberal game reviewers deserves my money. 10/10 game.

MORDHAU Supporter Pack is a great addition for those who dedicated themselves in playing the game and supporting the developers to help them continues making the game better with newer contents. Especially, more stuffs from the historical Medieval IRL! ^_^7

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare but updated to nowadays standards, except for no microtransactions and is cheaper than AAA games, of course I'll pay the extra

69 Hours of this game and I'm still not bored of it, this game may be frustrating at times I still love it, and I'm happy to further support an amazing developer.

Great soundtrack and cosmetics, great game. Only buy this if you're willing to support the developers further than the original price.

It's pretty trash that the necklace is a shoulder cosmetic and not neck, but it's a support pack so I can't complain. The upside is that the banner is really nice, and also if you're lucky the necklace+shoulder pads may go really well with your loadout. (Would be really nice if the devs could make it in both the shoulders and neck slot if at all possible.)

Have not received but i'm sure it will be fixed. I'd say hold off on this if you just want the items, otherwise if you just wanna support em go for it. A response on this platform from the devs would be nice tho to ease the Negative Reviews.

Chivalry paved the path for this game and up until the release of Mordhau we played Chiv. Now im proud to say I Uninstalled Chivalry and Mordhau takes 1st for sword combat and medieval combat all around. You need this game. The Price, game play, and all the content is how a game should be made. No EA here folks

Did not get the medallion or banner so cant rate highly, but will change review if this is fixed. EDIT: This bug is now fixed and all items are present. I am happy to support the developers as they are practically giving this masterpiece away at £20.

EDITED The bug where you don't get your pack items has been fixed! Now I highly recommend!! ORIGINAL I want to support the development for this game as much as possible, so I bought this just for the soundtrack alone. But haven't received anything after buying this last night. Hopefully now that the money and XP is fixed, this will also get looked at.

So i dont often review overall the game is good and fun the combat system works well for the most part. so far this looks like a take your money and run game there has been little talk about the supporter item issues and this will leave player pissed dev's if you read this im sure you wont but sort the issue and engage with the player base

Chivalry is truly dead, but Mordhau more than replaces it. This game is going to be the gold standard for FPSlashers mark my words

Bought the main game and the supporter pack individually, supporter pack a day or two after the main game. The devs definitely deserve the money for their dedication and hard work. Never really done anything like this before, but the devs deemed themselves quite worthy. Thanks guys.

BUY IT! This game is very good, I am hooked. I have played Kingdom Come, Mount and Blade, and Life is Feudal just to name a few. Mordhau can stand with the big boys. I know I have only put in a few hours into this game but dam where those some sweet moments. Life is very short and it is all about skills. So if you are a soy boy go play PUBG.

Worthless content, but here's a way to pay for maybe more Mordhau in the future.

I think that there should be one or two more cosmetic items, but in all it's nice.

Haven't received the items yet, but this is good nonetheless. I just bought it because this game is very guten, and therefore a donation DLC is just as guten.

The unlockable in-game armor is better. Buy it if you don't like your money.
