Being honest this is basically Dinosaur Zoo Tycoon, but with way more teeth and Jeff Goldblum judging your life choices. You’re in charge of building a park full of genetically engineered dinosaurs, and somehow you're also expected to keep guests alive. No pressure. In short: run a dino park, play with science, and pretend you’re smarter than the people in the movies. (You’re not.) But it’s fun to try.

A nice game for JP/JW fans, but I wish the game could support subtitles in other languages while keeping the English soundtrack. My English proficiency is not sufficient to understand all the conversations, but I still want to hear the original actors' voices.

I love the attention to detail ~ such a great game. Both 1 & 2 are fantastic. I think 1 may be my favorite though. I can't wait to try 3 in October!! 🦖

Very reminiscent of the Jurassic Park Simulator that came out around JPIII. Game is more simplified than id like, but has increased difficulty when trying to manage alot of tasks at the same time. UI has ALOT of issues, lots of things should have been play tested more to see if there were more efficient or convenient ways to do things in game, alot of useless re-clicking on things to do multiple tasks, etc. Also needs more options like disabling camera for releasing dinosaurs, yes i know it can be skipped, but when im releasing several its super annoying. Alot of camera zoom all over the game for no reason tbh. Needs a pause button so you can examine your park on the fly like 99% of other management simulators. All in all solid 7/10 for its genre. Hopefully Evolution 2 fixed alot of the UI issues.

Great game to play, although I haven't been able to play because it keeps crashing but it's still a great game and I definitely recommend it.

It has dinosaurs, and is a lot of fun. Especially with the paleobotany from Claire's Sanctuary.

Positive review but not unequivocally positive. The good stuff. Dinosaurs, lots of dinosaurs. Building once you get past the first learning curve is pretty intuitive. You can swap out contracts you don't like to try and get easier ones. Once you've got a reasonably sized park with a few bigger dinosaurs money keeps coming in. The bad stuff. People buildings are basically dull with really limited options. So your fast food outlet can only serve one type of food at a time. Your clothing store one garment. There was no obvious way to assess how my guests felt about my park. Weird anomalies like I tried to boost my shelter coverage from 75% to 90%, built six more shelters, and my coverage dropped to 66%. According to the figures all my buildings were meeting customer demand but customers were still unhappy. Too much busy work - so every dead dinosaur has to be manually removed and feeders have to be manually designated to be refilled. The worst stuff. Level 5 on my campaign asked me to build a park in far too small a space on an island constantly hit by huge storms doing massive damage to infrastructure. That was when I lost interest and came to write this review. It's a competent update of Jurassic Park operation Genesis but it misses the quality of life improvements to make it a good game. S.x.

All around solid game from start to finish! Even if you aren't a fan of dinosaurs it's an excellent sim building game for building out and managing a theme park. Experienced the occasional gpu crash but that didn't take away from the game at all in my opinion. Just purchased the 2nd one's premium edition after completing the game!

If you like any of the Tycoon games, you'll like this one. Beautiful graphics, lots of buildings with different uses, a good amount of creativity with roads and terraforming, and a big variety of dinosaurs and ways you can visually or statistically alter them. Pretty straight-forward objectives in the main gamemode with lots of little mini-objectives to earn more parts, dinosaurs, and abilities. You can also manually control some of the vehicles, like the Jeep and Helicopter, or just send them to do a few tasks for you. Great way to break the monotony when your park has been running smoothly for a while-- go for a little drive around the park, take a few pictures of your dinosaurs (for money!), maybe even hop in the helicopter and put a few dinos to sleep just because! You can even move dinosaurs around the island with the helicopters and drop them into a special location you've set up just for dinosaur pit fighting (and take more pictures!). Not too complicated to learn, either. My first park was a bit of a jumbled mess, but functional. The second park was a bit more organized, but not yet optimized. The third park has become a lot more optimal, but working with less space, I'm forced to set up a little differently than the last few times (forced variety can be a good thing). The campaign consists of 5 islands that are basically their own parks/levels. The first starts as the easiest and teaches you how everything works, the second introduces storms that damage your buildings and scare visitors, and more with later islands. Plus, as you move to new islands, you still keep your old ones, along with some bonuses from certain buildings you've upgraded. So, if you find yourself not liking your latest island, you can jump back to a previous one and keep working on it with your newfound upgrades! Can't wait to unlock everything and set up my proper, best park!

fun game, but it takes time to get the right enclosures for stronger dinosaurs ( which are a lot cooler to work with ) also runs a bit laggy on slower computers, but still works fine

My review of Jurassic World Evolution. Don't read this if you haven't played it My Favourite dinosaurs of Jurassic World Evolution, Brachiosaurus, Suchomimus, Lost World Stegosaurus, Homalocephale especially rainforest pattern, Nigersaurus , Strithimuimus, Dilophosaurus, Euoplocephalus and Sinoceratops. The variety which is enormous total 68 except with only 1 specie the pteranodon thats in the aviary. My Favourite attractions and amenity The Visitor centre my absolute favourite so are Jurassic explorer tours that go inside enclosure and go right up towards fences if you place the fence first. Storm defence. I love Paleo feeder should be in the challenge mode by default just must see different varieties of texture pack. Aviary. Dig team map and items in fossil room. The tornado and sabotage just wish Nedry was in it as the saboteur. The Fence are perfect. How Velociraptor and indominus rex brake out of medium storms. The monorail is fantastic with the elevated concrete rail. What I wished the game had. When you enter Hammond incubation centre the lid of cold Cryogenic storage should be pulled up and down with the list of dinosaur embryos just like film when Dennis Nedry stole the embryos when you enter or exist the menu. Small dinosaurs eg Ornithomimidae, Troodon, Compsognathus and Dracorex shouldn’t break concrete walls instead hit themselves against wall and thee dinosaur should loose health. Car/truck tours should have bridges so go over water eg wooden, concreate and steel bridges. The bridge should be adjustable in length to a certain extent same true for tunnels, these bridges/tunnel should allow paths and cars. inflatable Boat tours are really needed because the water is shallow. Canoe ride that can go over waterfalls and water escalator that pull the canoe back up. By changing Dna sequence should change how a dinosaur looks eg. Increased Bone Density for ceratops should increase size of the horns, for feathered sequence should make most dinosaur have feathers, insect sequence must give multiple arms/legs and skin toughness make dinosaurs have armoured back like Ankylosauridae. On each island should there should be Mineshaft to find dinosaur fossil and coal/oil as fuel for power stations. I rate the game 10 out of 10.

Quite a fun game when you add mods. Sandbox mode is relaxing and it's fairly enjoyable to build your own park.

A Good Game. Very Different from its sequel. You cannot pause the game unless you go to the menu to quit. No automatic Ranger teams and Helicopters. But still a good game nonetheless, they fixed those problems in the sequel. If you see people yelling about how buggy the game is they are lying. You may see a slight bug where the Dinosaurs glitch out of their Territory but you can easily deal with that with the ACU heli, but it seems to be on a rare occasion. I've only seen it once in my 30 hours of gaming

There's a certain charm to this game. The music, the atmosphere, dino-roars and sound effects, down to the quiet little "ah-ah-ah"s when you try to access a menu you haven't unlocked yet; they all culminated into a soundscape that takes you right to the islands. As a park sim it's a lot of fun and low stress (it's kinda hard to lose even if you feed your t-rex exclusively guests for dinner). If you like the Jurassic Park franchise you'll have a great time reminiscing while designing your parks

Jurassic World Evolution offers an engaging and immersive park-building simulation that invites players to step into the shoes of a dinosaur theme park manager, blending strategic management with the thrill of bringing prehistoric creatures back to life. Developed by Frontier Developments and released in 2018, the game captures the excitement and wonder of the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World franchises, providing a detailed and nuanced experience for both dinosaur enthusiasts and simulation fans alike. Players are tasked with designing and maintaining their own Jurassic World parks, managing everything from the enclosures and amenities to research, security, and guest satisfaction, all while ensuring the safety and well-being of the dinosaurs under their care. The heart of the game lies in its complex and satisfying management systems. Players must balance financial constraints with the needs of their dinosaurs and guests, carefully planning the layout of enclosures, building various facilities, and optimizing staff deployment. Each dinosaur species has unique behaviors, dietary requirements, and social preferences, which adds layers of depth and challenge to maintaining a thriving ecosystem. The research tree encourages experimentation, unlocking new species, genetic modifications, and park upgrades that keep gameplay fresh and rewarding. Unexpected events, such as storms, dinosaur escapes, and sabotage, inject tension and urgency, demanding quick thinking and strategic problem-solving. Visually, Jurassic World Evolution impresses with highly detailed and realistically animated dinosaurs that capture the awe-inspiring presence of these ancient creatures. The environments are lush and varied, ranging from tropical forests to rugged terrain, and the day-night cycle and dynamic weather further enhance the immersive atmosphere. Watching dinosaurs roam, interact, and occasionally clash within their habitats is a captivating spectacle, and the game’s camera options allow players to appreciate these moments up close or from a managerial overview perspective. The audio design complements the visual experience, featuring iconic dinosaur roars, ambient jungle sounds, and a stirring musical score that echoes the spirit of the movies. These elements work together to create a sense of wonder and occasional danger, reminding players of the precarious balance between nature and human ambition. While the core gameplay loop is compelling, some players may find certain management mechanics repetitive over time, and the AI pathfinding can occasionally lead to frustrating moments, such as guests getting stuck or staff not responding efficiently. However, these issues are relatively minor and do not significantly detract from the overall enjoyment. The game’s campaign mode offers a series of missions with clear objectives and story elements that tie into the Jurassic World universe, while the sandbox mode provides a more open-ended experience for creative park building without financial pressures. Jurassic World Evolution also benefits from regular updates and expansions that introduce new dinosaurs, challenges, and features, keeping the community engaged and expanding the game’s longevity. The blend of nostalgia for the beloved franchise and solid gameplay mechanics creates a uniquely satisfying experience for a broad audience. In summary, Jurassic World Evolution is a well-crafted and immersive park management simulator that delivers both the awe of dinosaurs and the strategic depth of running a complex theme park. Its beautiful presentation, engaging gameplay systems, and faithful tribute to the Jurassic franchise make it a must-play for fans of simulation games and dinosaur lovers alike. Whether carefully tending to your prehistoric inhabitants or managing the chaotic emergencies that arise, the game offers hours of rewarding and thrilling entertainment. Rating: 9/10

I have a dinosaur problem. I thought Skyrim ruined my life, and it did. I miss my children dearly, but mods, you know. But at least between quests I was still going to work. But these dinosaurs, man. I don't sleep. I don't eat. I don't remember what the outside of my front door looks like. I wanna say it's red. Anyway, 5/5 great Dinosaur Park game. Definitely a buy. Don't get the DLC until you've sunk some hours, you really don't need it,

Cool economy game - especially if you love the Jurassic Park franchise! If you look to 100% the game - DLC achievements locked behind a paywall. I will not be getting Jurassic World Evolution 2 nor the upcoming Jurassic World Evolution 3. Besides, from the movies we learned that sequels are worse and milking the same cow.
