Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars

a neat little game. paced long just enough to not overstay its welcome, with a great presentation (visually and musically) to back it up. don't really have much to say, definitely a more mid-tier game in terms of production that nails everything it goes for. a decent time all around!

Boring, formulaic gameplay. Boring, formulaic story. No player agency. Thankfully it is not that long and the high speed mode made it even shorter. I bought the trilogy that included this game while it was on substantial discount. I haven't played the other two games, but this one is not worth playing. Yoko Taro must have used all his juice on Nier because this game's got nothing going on story wise. Newbies go on an adventure that ends up being to save the world in the end. The multiple endings are simply a choice you make after the final boss (except one requires an extra step).
