Nice little indie game. Got 12 hours playtime out of it from start to finish. Worth the 12 bucks I paid for it at least.

I thought it was one of the management games where you expand your infrastructure over the land and upgrade buildings and constructions, but no. Every time you can dig for oil is just a phase where you try to find locations of the oil underground, and all the management is purely financial. You just have to juggle the money enough to not be in negative at the end of the phase and you start all over again. Didn't like that system, expected something else, like less autistic than Factorio but more engaging than petroleum-themed idle game. This doesn't have that, which might actually be an asset for people who do NOT want that and want to test themselves in a money managing game.

5/10 Fun game. As of this review I have only played the normal campaign so there is more to delve into but for the most part its pretty simple and self explanatory. I've peaked a little at the expert campaign but doesn't seem that interesting (It doesn't seem like this game goes super deep into strategy, just basic stuff). Fun to pass the time and the theme is a unique thing games don't often use so its nice to see.

This is quite a fun game. I remember watching CaptainSauce play it a long time ago when i was a kid. Its not super replayable, but its a good bit of fun.

It's the OG game, but it can get repetitive real fast. I got kinda bored out after a few matches.

Turmoil surprised me — it's got the heart of a board game wrapped in a resource sim shell. If you enjoy games like Ticket to Ride or Black Friday (even though the mechanics differ), there’s a similar rhythm here — light strategy with a satisfying payoff. I don't know if it is worth full price, however for the $2.50 i paid for it i find it very enjoyable at that price. FIrst time I played it I thought it was kinda dumb, however I thought about it for a couple days after that first attempt and gave it another shot. I doubt its ability to have true replayability but for a handful of hours at least the single player is enjoyable.

A nice and relaxing game that will hold your attention throughout its entirety. It's good, and I recommend it.

I like the simpleness of this game, It is enjoyable for what it is. Yes there is room for improvement. If you like business management games, it's worth a look.

Fun little game however why in the world would you be able to lock a pipe joint when you're trying to place a wagon. I've lost a few games due to no money after I play a wagon on top of the pipe line joint just for it to close once I drop the wagon... No oil pumping now and can't sale a silo or wagon nothing to be able to unlock the pipe.

Crashes my PC within about 2-3 minutes. Full black screen requires reboot. I tried a few of the suggested options but after 5 crashes I gave up and requested a refund. I tried but not willing to risk my PC for this game. It looked ok.

What a buggy mess. The wagons stops spontaneously and are stuck. The pumps doesn't work half the time. Even the selling of oil have problems like not adding money, or again, just stopping. So yeah... what a mess.

The game didn`t save my progress. I have to go from the beginning all over again.

[/b] This is the first installment of Turmoil. Not any of the DLC. This game is a well put together simple repeated quest game that does have staying power and the ability to keep you playing for many hours. No graphical beauty or extreme gameplay, but a nice little puzzle progression. Don't expect brain twisting enigmas. Just good cheap fun!

The game is not bad at idea and mechanics itself. It IS very ugly at UX design. Okay. I do not cover art-design, however one is not so good too. But the game itself is very, very unforgivable with a few very lazy (and punishable) ways to tinker issues which gameplay produce itself. You cannot sell building, even undo ANY action, only subset of them. Sometimes gameplay is very frustrating. The only first level I cannot understand can I pull several drowlers or no as long as they are trying to find oil almost first month (and I thought that they are disturb each other. Okay, this is common and effective strategy, but it can produce situtation, then you are doing everything find except worship of god random so you HAVE to borrow money. You cannot (or the they to do it is VERY unobvious): + Restart whole level. + Undo missed action. + Sell inactive rigs. + Inactivate rigs/pipes. + Unbuy upgrades. But instead of doing deep complexity game isn't hard. It somelike painfull. You should manage oil price yourself. There is no usefull grid. And gas mechanic is something made me angry and say "G-BRRRR!". This IS not a game. This is somekind of prototype which is fine for itch.io or for free. But not worth even $1. And another set of the other (bad) side of the coin: + Damn @#$% non-latin fonts. + Very-very limited story. + Itself this is VERY short to rush all levels. + It VERY easy to win without using all mechanics (I won almost every level with after some upgrades by devastation and +20-30k) At least, game CAN be interesting enought to pay 20% of price.

I gave the devs an ultimatum since they decided to ruin my achievement completion with a new, awfully received DLC. Make it free, and I won't post a negative review. I was once again talking to a brick wall as they chose to ignore me. Very well, have it YOUR way. I'm not spending my hard-earned money on a pointless expansion that has overwhelmingly negative reviews.
