The game like's to freeze alot and often, sometimes it unfreezes instantly, sometimes it doesn't. Save often, I wasted almost 20 hours of playtime waiting for it to unfreeze or replaying a section multiple times. Other then that good game, great story.

Persona 5 Strikers offers a fresh and energetic twist on the beloved Persona series by blending its signature storytelling and characters with a fast-paced, action-oriented combat system. Moving away from the traditional turn-based battles, the game introduces real-time hack-and-slash gameplay reminiscent of the Dynasty Warriors franchise. This change creates a more immediate and thrilling combat experience, where players can chain together combos, switch between party members on the fly, and strategically use Personas and special abilities to overcome waves of enemies. The transition feels natural, preserving the series' strategic depth while injecting a new sense of momentum and excitement. The story picks up shortly after the original Persona 5, following the Phantom Thieves as they reunite for a summer road trip across Japan. Their trip takes a dark turn when they discover mysterious dungeons known as Jails, which manipulate the desires of various individuals. The narrative tackles modern issues such as social media influence, manipulation, and the echo chambers people often find themselves trapped in. While the plot doesn’t carry the same emotional weight as the first game, it effectively builds on the characters’ growth and maintains the series’ tradition of social commentary through a new, more contemporary lens. Character development remains strong, with each member of the Phantom Thieves receiving meaningful moments to shine and evolve. The game explores their personal challenges and relationships in ways that feel genuine, adding emotional depth to the high-energy action. Interactions between characters retain the charm and wit fans expect, strengthening the bond between the group and keeping players invested in their journey. This focus on friendship and personal growth grounds the story, even as the game dives into more intense and fantastical battles. Visually, Persona 5 Strikers stays true to the series’ stylish anime-inspired aesthetic. The character designs are vibrant and full of personality, perfectly capturing the distinct identities of the Phantom Thieves. The game’s environments vary widely, from urban streets to eerie dungeon settings, each crafted with attention to detail that enhances the overall atmosphere. Combat sequences benefit from dynamic camera work, making each fight feel dramatic and cinematic, which elevates the satisfaction of battling hordes of enemies. The soundtrack plays a crucial role in energizing the gameplay, mixing new tracks with remixed favorites from Persona 5’s iconic score. The music seamlessly adapts to the fast-paced action, heightening the tension and excitement during battles and exploration alike. Voice acting is solid, with the cast delivering their lines convincingly and bringing emotional nuance to their roles, which helps deepen the narrative experience. Though the shift to real-time combat adds freshness, it may not satisfy all fans, especially those who prefer the more thoughtful pace of turn-based strategy. Some players might find the action repetitive after extended play, and the linear progression can feel limiting compared to the open-ended exploration and social simulation that defined the original Persona 5. Additionally, the absence of the deep confidant system means fewer opportunities for players to build relationships outside of the main story, which may disappoint fans who valued those layers of interaction. In summary, Persona 5 Strikers successfully reinvents the franchise by combining its engaging characters and storytelling with exhilarating, action-packed gameplay. While it trades some of the original’s strategic and social elements for a more streamlined and fast-paced approach, it delivers a compelling adventure that is both familiar and refreshingly new. For players looking to revisit the Phantom Thieves in a dynamic new format, Strikers offers a vibrant, entertaining journey that expands the Persona universe in exciting ways. Rating: 8/10

10/10, Perfect story, great attempt at a beat em up, Really loved it Everything is translated from the base game into a beat em up in a perfect way (The one more system, all out attacks, weakness systems & such) I'd suggest this if you're a fan of beat em ups and Personas It's also fairly easy to get into, It's not overly complicated, I'd suggest playing Persona 5 or Persona 5: Royal first though. This game is significantly shorter than Persona 5 Royal/Persona 5 though, due to the lack of social links.

Solid game but it loses points in my book cuz Koei Tecmo deliberately makes their games nigh-impossible to mod. For me, one of the main draws for pc gaming is the ability to create and install mods, which can really prolong the longevity of a game after its release, so that's kind of a bummer. Plus denuvo.

I love this game, the stylized visuals, great music, and excellent writing continues. It works as an epilogue to base Persona 5, adds a new fighting system (which was a little confusing but still pretty fun), as well as new characters with some decent arcs mixed in. A fun road trip and save the world kinda game with some fun antics. The combat system is a little tricky at first and some fights are a little confusing but once you get the hang of it its great. As well the grinding in this game felt a little less grindy but its still there. If you liked Persona 5 then you should give this a try. Really, just wait for a sale if you're on fence like I was.

劇情雖然稍顯老套,但補充了很多日常類的劇情,以及類無雙的玩法,還是非常推薦

Without the daily life sim, it's only about 75% as fun as P5 Royal, but because of that it delivers that fun in only 50% of the time. It also comes with a free driving tour of Japan, which is pretty awesome. Overall, I'd say I enjoyed it as much as Persona 5 Royal tbh

It’s been 2 ½ years since the release of Persona 5, which I thought was one of the best JRPG games I’ve played. With no Persona 6 in sight, I was eager to return to the Persona 5 world. The Steam sale afforded this opportunity. I should point out that Strikers was released some time ago and I haven’t played it until now because unlike the original, Strikers is not a turn-based game, but rather an action game, which I’m not a big fan of. Additionally, all the character interactions from the first game, like going to school and socializing with your friends is absent. So, to my mind they took away the best part of Persona 5. Nonetheless, despite these shortcomings, Strikers is very good in its own right. All the main characters from the first game return, and there are two new major characters as well. You can still use personas during the, at times, frantic action. When you press (and hold) control, the game pauses while you select which persona to use. Similarly, pressing escape pauses the action while you use items you buy or cook to recover HP or SP on whomever needs them. I guess this is the best I could hope for in a game that isn’t turn-based. In sum, while waiting for Persona 6, it was good to return to the Persona 5 world despite the differences between the two games. I also have to add that the game was completely stable without one crash or glitch – something that’s become a rarity in computer games.

A great sequel to P5 (not P5R as the additional characters, story beats and music from it don't carry on to here unfortunately) with surprisingly fun combat, an engaging plot, great new characters and some genuinely hype moments. Characters from P5 that were a bit undercooked like Haru are given a lot of attention this time around. The only real criticism I have is that NG+ is kinda boring as it doesn't really have any unique mechanics and you're just spending most of your time spamming your most effective attacks. This isn't relevant for your first playthrough though so you'll still get a great experience.

This game cannot beat P5 and P5R (in terms of gameplay), yet it still has a special side. I just played P5R a few months ago and then bought Strikers/Scramble, and I had no issues with the story's connection; for me, there were no plot holes. The story was as peak as always; I wouldn't expect anything less from a Persona game. I finished in like 33 hours and had quite a lot of fun. It was nice to see the original Phantom Thieves all together again. So if you loved P5, you will like this game as well. At first, it may be hard to get into the game due to the genre, but the story will carry the rest. Decent game, an absolute cinema story, and all original Phantom Thieves. Recommended! Until next time, the Phantom Thieves.

I can't say I know what the story is about (I just skip everything for gameplay), but the combat is so fun. The game looks great and plays well on the Steam Deck.

An incredible sequel to persona 5, I love the new characters, and the new combat system was such a breath of fresh air, and jails are a great alternative to the palaces, and they work so well. I do wish the game was longer, and it is extremely linier. Just don't play this game before persona 5 royal, this game is a direct sequel so it expects you to know things from the past.

Budget minimal effort Persona game. No people around town to interact with, no shops, no faction. All you get is a budget musou game with cut down everything. The fusing mechanic is budget cut down, interpersonal interactions the bare minimum required so they can claim it's a Persona game. No time management. Nothing. The worst game in the whole Persona/SMT catalog, first one I abandoned in boredom (twice, i didn't think it could be that bad)

This is actually a pretty solid spin off. It's not going to break your world or anything but it's worth playing

I was told that this game isn't a great game to begin with as a new Persona player, but I love hack-and-slash games so I wanted a good first impression, and this game does just that! The gameplay is similar to that of Hyrule Warriors and Fire Emblem Warriors, and the soundtrack is also up to par with those other games. There was a memory leak issue for me, but I disabled V-Sync within the game and forced it through NVidia Control Panel, then restarted my PC; the issue was resolved thereafter. This game gave me a first great impression, I have no idea what the story is about since I am missing a lot of story from the previous games, but getting to know the characters from this game makes me want to go play the others and learn more!
