i've been playing pdiva since i was like 12 and i'm 20 now. as someone who has played this game on playstation, switch, and pc, i can tell you that you should get megamix + specifically bc u can mod it. this is a pretty good port but it's fps locked. you can get mods to unlock it but keep in mind you'll probably get leaderboard banned. no one really plays this game anymore but i love it so highly recommend

BEFORE YOU BUY! Get Megamix+ with extra song pack so you can download mods without looking what mods are compatible with the base game, and to easily install EDEN PROJECT which is one of the main mods in this game you can load so you can actually acsess the whole game which has +300 songs instead of mere 100 your save data will be corrupted nonetheless even if you do not mod or mod the game so do not care about it much or carry the game within a harddisc so you do not lose it when you delete the game or just hard-reset your computer. a general advice would be that do not play this game with wireless/bluetooth devices which will hinder your progress (it matters a lot in this game because there is no offset value you can set!) and also play the game with a mechanical keyboard or just a controller because membrane keyboards do not register multiple inputs they are made to register 3 at max. (yeah the game is tedious to play but if you follow the steps or fit the criteria then you do not have to worry and it is a general good experience) Author's note: even as a competitive dbd player where every milisecond counts I plugged my wireless keyboard for the first time just for this game BEFORE YOU BUY! OVER.

I have never felt so braindead in my life ever, "ok brain, you read the tutorial. when the arrow goes down, you press down. Look at the bloody screen, OKAY?" *Presses left instead* "Yo wtf look at the bloody screen." *two symbols at once appeared* *Brain.exe has stopped working* Otherwise, what an interesting style of game, with musics you might fond and love for years. Or if you're a first time, you might like it, very depends. The 3D system is also cool, almost every music is 3DMV and you can change the characters and clothings in the MV. 8/10 (for only 100-200+ music and 0 new contents, might want to wish for lower price).

I bought the complete game on Switch a couple years ago and finally got it on PC on a good sale. I don't even care about the rhythm game that much. I just like having over 250 Vocaloid music videos on demand on my portable Switch to watch anytime and anywhere. If I had a Steam Deck, I would do the same for that. The custom playlists feature is great but for some reason you can't give playlists a name on the PC version even though you can on the Switch version. Other than that, the only difference I noticed was a couple of minor differences in cosmetic modules. I didn't notice any differences in the music, though I didn't go through and do a song-by-song comparison, either. Overall, a fantastic version of Project Diva for any Vocaloid fan. Highly recommended.

Really fun game I've always enjoyed rhythm games and I do really like Miku and the other Vocaloids. I just wish the songs were their original length. Sad to see some of my favorite songs like Sweet Devil and Hand in Hand are a minute short each.

It could use more songs. And a better port, since it's capped at 60 fps, and runs like shit in borderless. But in general I'd say it's alright.

Pretty sure I gave myself arthritis from playing this every day for several months and have been radicalized into a diehard Miku/Vocaloid cult member. I regret absolutely nothing.

The rhythm game is nice, but what makes this absolute peak are the MVs, both the ones from the base games and the ones from mods

I have hours on this game and have played for almost a year. I bought it because i liked the project diva extended on the psp and have had more fun on this game! Although it does not have the same controls or mechanics, the time i have spent playing mods for this game have been a blast. I have also been better introduced to popular vocaloid songs and world of hatsune miku. (rip button hold and diva room though...)

I usually wait until I have at least 10 hours in a game to review it, but I had already previously played the Project Diva series in the past and this one is mostly the same. I am giving it a positive review because I do enjoy the game itself and I do recommend it to newer players, but as an enjoyer of the original game (I played on PS Vita) I have many negatives... * I bought the complete collection not really paying attention that all it does is give you another music pack (yay!) and unlock all the character outfits (not yay). I like the challenge of earning points to unlock new characters and It kinda stinks you can just throw a little extra money to unlock everything. * What happened to the art contest loading screens? What was once a super stylized and colorful fan art showcase, is now a generic white background with a single character model. I used to be excited for the loading screens and actually enjoy looking at the art, now it's just boring between songs. * No items, no character rooms, no interactions? Previously, we had not only the rhythm game, but also mini games to take a break in between beating your high scores and button mashing. Each character had a room you could buy items and furniture for using your points earned from songs and interact with the characters! There was also a heart system! The more gifts you gave the characters and played with them, the higher hearts you would get, giving you the chance to get more exclusive gifts or outfits from the characters themselves. I honestly really miss playing rock paper scissors with them XD * I HATE the multi button events and old map changes. Sometimes the multi button hits are placed well and are doable, but sometimes they are nearly impossible. HOW do you hit 3 different 2 button press combinations in succession during a 130 bpm song without your fingers fumbling over the d pad like a newborn trying to play drums!? I don't know, maybe I'm just really bad at the game XD Also, the older songs mapping was perfect, why did they have to change it T.T my nostalgia is gone. So, like I said. I enjoy the game...but I really really wish there was more. Not more songs or outfits, but more game mechanics T.T The background animations during songs are wonderful! I really like the music and matching outfits and I will continue playing even though there is also now a MASSIVE difficulty spike between hard and extreme. If you decide to pick up the game good luck and have fun!!!

If you love vocaloid, rhythm games, or both, this game is perfect for you. A great take on the older Project Diva games, and has some of the most beloved classics of vocaloid songs. Also, you get to dress up THE hatsune miku. I love it, highly recommend.

this is my first project diva game, but so far i love it!! the skill curve of the game feels easy to learn, but quite challenging to master. one of the more disappointing aspects of the game is the lack of iconic songs like aishite aishite aishite, and more songs like it (although that may be in one of the DLCs for all i know) what makes up for that is the fact that the game is SUPER customizable with miku's outfits (and the others of course), and the 3D music videos in the background are also fun to watch. it's also very nice to be able to switch between the graphic styles of Future Tone and MEGA MIX. i recommend the game if you're a big fan of hatsune miku or just vocaloid in general, since the game is very easy to mod as well! 8/10

Quite a bit more difficult than I was anticipating, but it's a deceptively cool rhythm game focused on accuracy where you are rewarded greatly for getting perfects. The VIP edition has the item unlock key DLC that will unlock everything in the game if you don't feel like grinding. If you do want to do the normal game progression with unlocks you should get the base version of the game or buy VIP edition but disable the item unlock key DLC before first bootup. If you are patient to wait for a sale this game can be a real steal.

A very fun and intuitive rhythm game, with modding as easy as a few clicks, and a huge selection of songs out of the box, this is THE rhythm game for Vocaloid fans AND lovers! One big downside is that it doesn't include by default songs by non-Crypton media vocaloids.

This is a fun rhythm game as its unqiue in the lots of ways such as: -over 150 songs - wide range of difficulty - each song has its own pattern to hit - LARGE range of cosmetics for all vocaloids in the game - easy to learn - stays fun for a long time - the dlcs are worth it as well so i recommend this game but the only downside is there is no multiplayer or VS mode

i love this game! i think project diva is an excellent rhythm game and is an absolute blast to play! ive put in plenty of hours on this version of the game, as well as the switch version. i personally play with a controller, but i think playing with keyboard is great too! very easy to learn, excellent charts and killer songs. i'm still not great at it, i've got lots to learn, but i love it! i do think it suffers from a lack of variety in terms of vocaloids used in the songs. the vast majority of the songs feature hatsune miku- and don't get me wrong, it *is* her game... but i would have loved to see the other vocaloids shine a little more in this version of project diva. that said, i really do adore this game! i can't wait to get better at it and complete more charts! (ps, this game has a great modding scene! if you wish there were more songs, much like me, you can find LOTS of mods to compensate for it!)

Honestly I prefer F2nd's gameplay, but with mods and over 500 songs because of the mods this is my favourite Project Diva. If you do not plan to mod this game though it is still a great game. It has basically all songs from F1, F2 and Future Tone and a small handful from X. if you don't have the others or want them all in one place this is a fantastic buy. I always loved Miku, but didn't get to play more Project Diva til way later in my life and this game imo is a great one to start with being the easiest to pick up, but also probably has some of the hardest charts. Now I am a baby and mostly just play in hard, but if you are looking for a challenge exteme expects a lot from you. Now the art style might throw some people off, I heard many prefer Future Tone and I myself like the models from F2nd, but honestly they don't look bad and mods can change that too if you dislike it that much. Overall I'd say Mega Mix+ is worth it to any Vocaloid fan new or old. This is my 69th review btw. Thought that number was important enough to mention it.

most of the popular songs, awesome graphics , nice new tricks to play, more mods and a LOT of clothes and you can make your own shirts. this games has everything, classic and new songs. 9/10 some classic songs available in project Diva 2nd (for example) are in a DLC... f*** that i miss when games were sold without this -_- anyway, its a fair price and a great game. if have never tryed this game before there is a demo but it doesnt makes justice for the other great songs you are missing.

Really fun game with a lot of songs. I already had mega mix on switch, and I'll say it's nice to have future tone graphics for this version, it's still missing some features that made other games in the series more enjoyable like the room, and the mix mode that was on mega mix. But it's still one of the best rhythm games you can get on steam.

It works great right out of the box on Linux Mint with an AMD GPU. The AMD drivers on windows has a graphical glitch that is not detrimental to the game play, but can be pretty distracting, especially for a game that requires a fair bit of concentration. This is not in the Linux drivers because Linux uses built in open source drivers that are different from what you have to download for windows. Also, I am happy that they finally added Nekomimi archive back into the game. The game now feels like it is complete for me. I just wish they would add the songs from the other games that were not included.
