Story is not deep but it's decent and it has lots of well known JP VAs. However, the story ended up open ended, like it's setting up a sequel. But since this game released since 2021 and no news anymore about it then it might as well be abandoned, which is sad since this seems to be their most popular game. Feels like there's a lot more cut content somewhere given how the records has a lot more depth on what happened in the ship and that ending. Also the Metallic childs you fought has some anime personalities that could've at least have some more in-depth background stories and their thoughts of the rebellion given that they're similar tech as Rona herself. Also I don't feel like completing everything since chips amount you get don't scale so it's very grindy to unlock things. The rogue-lite elements are too harsh as well, I tend to get useless mini-cores (the buffs) or bugged cores (debuff) too much which makes it hard to know what build you'll end up or ending up not being able to build anything since the mini-cores expire too fast that you have to abuse few mechanics just to keep the good buffs. Basically the damage buffs are too rare it takes me 2-4 runs before I get one. It's always battery which is a non-issue for all weapon types anyways so its useless. Same with supercores (permabuffs for that mission), always get useless ones
SAME JP VA AS HANA UZAKI/JAHY SAMA
If you're into long cutscenes like those old Melty Blood or BlazBlue storymode talking parts, then this is definitely for you. Or just skip em 😅 Sound: 7/10 Sounds like Megaman X Series but not as catchy but it's not bad Voice Acting: 10/10 I separated this from sound because the voice acting really is great Gameplay: 9/10 Actually very good, it feels like a 3D fighting game. But the game really wants you to not get hit, some enemies like those annoying drill worm bot are very hard to hit but some are just a piece of cake. Some weapons are really good, the drones also look awesome, too bad you don't get to keep em and boss battles are too long so your happy times with your drone will definitely be cut short (They have a hammer that generates drones though, if I see it I automatically choose it) Graphics: 10/10 Pretty pretty shiny shiny 🤩 Story: 9/10 I like it but they really do talk too much Was kinda stuck in the final part of the story but I discovered the
JUMPING HAMMER THEN ROLL BACK COWARDLY TECHNIQUE
But maybe this is the approach the devs wants us to take because of the hit-less run challenges? My only critique really is, at least allow a certain number of hits in the virtual missions. Shields also exist in the game, why can't we just use that?
