Decent game client for playing Duel Monsters against CPU controlled anime theme avatars. Very clunky compared to modern Master Duel, but works okay otherwise.
Story is the anime, told through very basic plot summaries of the YuGiOh anime generations, but it's nice if you want to review what happened in each series.
Decent cardpool, not up to date for modern TCG / Master Duel (there is Blue Eyes Chaos Max Dragon (2016 from Dark Side of Dimensions), but no Blue Eyes Jet Dragon (2022)), but there's a decent amount of cards to choose from.
(For starting, if you want to make a Blue Eyes Deck, aside from unlocking the Kaiba pack by advancing through generation 1 anime duels, you need to deliberately loose to Kaiba a few times so the game will give you copies of the original Blue Eyes White Dragon as consolation.)
However, the primary way to get cards is through the in game points redeem system and card packs. No in-game codes, but also no microtransactions, which I approve of (compared to Master Duel's greedy gem systems that prices default bundles absurdly to make the discount sales seem reasonable in comparison). You can use game hacks for infinite points and faster animations for dueling and pack opening, which helps a bit.
Against the AI, you can you three copies of any card, even banned cards like Pot of Greed, which can be fun.
