EZ2ON REBOOT : R

Got this game mainly for 8b, and wow it's really fun. But also having to play really low difficulties to FC anything kind of sucks, managed to FC a 6 on 8b The in-game UI is extremely customisable, but the UI overall is pretty unintuitive. No full keyboard controls for the UI which means you have to use your mouse occasionally, can't filter songs by whether they're unlocked or not, you can't change the audio offset in the options, that's only a thing in the gameplay options that you can only access on the song select. Also I couldn't figure out how to show the early/late display on the result screen. But those are all nitpicks really, overall the game is pretty good so far The only actual complaint I'd have is that there aren't many songs you'd usually hear in RGs (the ones listed on the game's page + conflict, DATAERR0R, Finite (the one from Tone Sphere) are pretty much all there is in the base game), wish there were more songs by popular RG artists (Frums, Ebimayo, Myukke, Silentroom, Lime, xi, Morimori Atsushi, Halv, etc) or BOF songs, especially given that this game seems to cater more to RG fans I think that wouldn't be a bad thing at all

It's a very good rhythm game, basically an adjacent DJMAX but with a different focus on song genre and imo a better UI. However it shares the same issue with DJMAX, in that it is very expensive to actually own the full package. On top of paying for the game, there is 200 dollars worth of dlc, that will probably keep going up over time. Just like with DJMAX, if you are a fan of this type of rhythm game and tire of the free options like quaver that feel rigid and behind the times, get this on sale.

Bad song selection. I listened to all the stock songs and only felt like playing maybe 1 or 2 songs. Also disappointed that there were alot of remixes/remasters of the same songs. Some songs had several remixes. It bloats the song list. I also feel like alot of the songs dont fit a rhythm game. Alot of them were slow and felt out of place. I liked the UI but that doesnt really matter. What matters is if the songs are good or not.

if you're gonna have an online only requirement then for crying out loud keep the servers up, or better yet ADD AN OFFLINE MODE

Great rhythm game with a high skill ceiling. Normal mode is genuinely challenging
