Web Updates: AI warnings, Historical Lows improvements, and other things

11/7/2025
Background
Now that the Steam sales are over, I'm writing a new update post now that I'm breathing a sigh of relief. Before explaining the things I've been working on, I'd like to thank those who share the website on social media, because I compete against companies and feel like David versus Goliath many days.
  • Warnings in games that have used Artificial Intelligence in their development. It's a rolling update, but you can already see the warning in games like Black Ops 6. I was unsure how to implement the warning because it's insulting that Activision uses AI in the development of its games, but in games that only have one developer, I see it as a helpful tool. For now, I've left it as a "blue message" because I only know if the AI field has been filled in on the game's Steam page.
  • Improving the Historical Lows tool. Taking advantage of the Steam sales, I had a lot of data to work with. I managed to improve the loading speed and added new filters based on release date, AI usage, and minimum number of reviews.
  • I've recovered the 2Game store. Without any help from the store's employees, I've managed to automatically read the deals from this official store. Since I don't have access to their API, I can't see which coupons they have active, and frankly, it's crap, because their deals are going to seem pointless.
  • Semi-recovery of the Epic Games store. Once again, without any help from any store employee, I've had to figure things out on my own. I don't have access to their API, and I doubt they have a human to contact, so I have to read the deals from an external program I created to simulate human visits and read the deals in bulk. This means my server can't search for deals, and I have to start the program every day.
I may slow down a bit with development over the summer, but if you have any bugs or suggestions, no matter how small, please feel free to email me and I'll look into them.
