Waste of money. The devs had a cool concept that convinced me to buy it. Now, it's just another dead game that I wasted 30€ on. The fact that you can still buy this dead game for 30 bucks is a direct insult to anyone who values quality and money.

I have never been so disappointed by a game in my 29 years on this earth playing video games including well know piles of garbage such as call of duty warzone and battlefield 2042. Even after having suffered through such buggy updates exhausting weapon balancing changes and sweaty nolifers/ hackers i still have never encountered a more sad and frustrating saga as what has happened with this game. I started this game in 2023 so excited and naive after watching numerous of my favorite content creators such as jack frags and angry joe play it. It looked so fresh and so interesting and less complicated to get into than a game such as tarkov. i dedicated numerous nights staying up until the sun broke through the horizon playing this game grinding gear killing some top name streamers and of course losing and having to start from the bottom all over again. It was an exhilarating experience and i had never felt anything like it. slowly though the rose tinted glasses started to fade and update after update the devs started to show their true colors and delayed update after delayed update broken promises after broken promises a constant push to go to the discord despite knowing that there was never going to be a good resolution there. All supported by a dwindling player count which left a few well stacked chads to dominate the galaxy with psh helms and L1's while you were struggling to survive with a trench gun and low tier armor. I put so much time and dedication into getting better and even got multiple friends to buy the game and bought it for others spending my hard earned cash trying to get people to see what i was seeing with this game. All for nothing all for the devs to fall silent not even letting the community know what's going on there was no sunset as there was with the cycle frontier. It didn't go out with a bang, only a sad muffled wimper..... Please don't support this dev. The publisher team 17 has released plenty of worthwhile titles but this is not one of them. Small impact games deserves the fate that it carved out for itself. Let it bleed out while contemplating it's misteps and misdirection by fake fan streamers of the game that were gonna move on to something else once this game has been stripped of all of it's blood.

hoping the devs see this... before you drop this game and walk away completely, at least just give us PvE coop. me and a buddy loved this game the short while it lasted, we always hoped private co-op lobbies would come to fruition, but... please, before you step away, just let us play the game in co-op fashion. you'd lose nothing, need to balance nothing. it'd purely be nothing but a benefit to the game. i guarantee people would start to give it a second look as well. spent 4 hours straight with the same friend last night on a new medieval PvE extraction/looter that reminded us of this game, and it was merely a play-test. a lot of people just want to relax and fuck around with their buddies, and there's no one left to play this game with anyway... just think about it, please. such a cool concept and atmosphere to just let die and rot completely.

A wonderful game with amazing atmosphere and some decent level design. Sure its got its issues but the game was fun for a few months when the servers we "full". It combines several neat things like Pirates, Space Combat and WW1. But the devs have fallen silent, the game has gone stagnant, the few players that remain kill everything on sight and drive new players trying to learn away. This game could and should have been on I7's steam summer sale, but they clearly hate this game and wish it dead, because its still $30 for an unfinished game that hasn't gotten an update in over a year. Theres SO MUCH potential to this game, but I simply cant recommend it to anyone in the state its in. AquaFPS, Sterdekie, Hexloom and Zchum didnt sit in a basement for a week straight playing the game nonstop for THIS. Sincerely, a Crewmember 42069 enjoyer

The game is abandoned. Fortunately only having about 15 players daily means not many hackers but even if you get in a game, you might still run into one or someone that has not stopped playing so they have all the gear they need to make sure you don't survive your run. I really wish this game had a PVE mode. I hate resets and the last one wiped so much progress just for the game to not be updated again after a year. So much promise, but another waste of money.

Played this game years ago at it's peak and loved it. Great atmosphere, cool concepts, good combat, really great ideas like space combat extractions. Now I see it in my library and look at it with nostalgia because I know I'll never be able to replay those experiences since it is now dead. I don't know why this game died but to me it's a tragedy. To everyone who worked on this game, thank you for the memories.

This game is effectively abandoned. There has been little to no communication from the devs in a little over a year. The last major update was a year ago. There's a hacking problem, and I'm willing to bet you couldn't find a match even if you bought the game. Which is truly a shame, as this was one of the most promising and interesting extraction shooters out there.

Its a shame I wasn't able to clock in more hours in this game before the playerbase cratered big time, if this mythical update that is allegedly in development ever comes out (and drags enough people back onto it) I'll give it another shot because I did truly enjoy my time with this game.

Marauders is the perfect example of great gameplay fumbled by a development team that refuse to communicate anything other than pinky promises to players. Only 2 updates in two years with 10 months since the last as of writing this review and nothing but radio silence to show for it. No teases, screenshots or artwork, nothing. The community team will promise that something is coming but they have nothing to back this up other than "one of the QA staff has seen the update" and will not respond if more is asked for. Just look at the store page, they have not even bothered to remove the roadmap from 2023. Player counts are also a long term issue with Marauders as the developers have not marketed since the early access release, but are worse now than ever. Rough peak of 20-40 each day and you will not find a populated match unless you can play on US east at a time those players will be online. If you want to play Marauders you should wishlist and keep an eye out for an update so you may actually find a match at that time, without that i can see the game shutting down by the end of the year.

bout it at release. Amazing game, lots of hope. Take a break to wait for new developments. Come back to multiple stations in a map, and other changes that i thought weren't in the right direction. Look on community doesnt even say anyone is playing just a few hundred in chat. DO NOT BUY. IT HAS BEEN ABANDONED. Seems criminal that its still available to buy considering the matches are completely empty.

[/h2] Im not trying to be an a-hole but.. if we are not hearing anything from Devs in next few days, then we'd like our money back please, we didnt pay for a game just to be deserted like that. If your a fan of extraction shooters i would 100% recommend this game its just Tarkov in space and i fucking love it

A friend (names won't be named.. I lie: DOOM!) made me buy this game a couple of years ago and I regret buying it and not being able to get a refund. My fault for being peer pressured into buying early access scamware. We had fun for a few hours between the gormless bots and occasional players; in a nutshell it's OK extraction shooter gameplay with pseudo-WW2 weaponry in space. The spaceship entrance/exit sequence is a nice idea but totally redundant. It didn't take long to then encounter lifeless, invisible hackers killing us through the walls, and so I put the game down for a bit. The next time we played our noob-level ship was almost instantly boarded by neckbearded sweatlords, a pair of the handful of basement dwellers still playing the game. I tried to play a couple more times but couldn't find a match because of the lack of players. I uninstalled and left it to collect digital dust, hoping that the developers would realise a PvE co-op mode (alongside PvPvE) was necessary not only to avoid scummy hackers but super-tiered no-lifers ganking casual players like myself, and hopefully resuscitate the game and playerbase. There is no such thing a couple years later and no one plays the game anymore, and it's basically impossible to play as games won't start without players. Oh, and meaningful development seems to have ceased so it's yet another certified early access 'never finished' scamware. One more Team17-published turd to add to the pile, they are really quite prolific at producing them.

It's alright if you like getting insta-killed in a gun fight and losing all your gear, and then having to wait in darkness because you can't spectate your teammates.

Not a bad game. Just quite under developed. Think it has big potential just issues with loading in and server issues. Overall think one should wishlist this if they find it interesting.

So from what ive been seing and just have been reading up on the game is NOT dead and people do still play it. A lof of these negative reviews are honestly coming from pissed off/salty players bc its been almost a year since the last update and the devs dont talk much about it. pretty stupid honestly because these are the people that are making it dead and attempting to ruin any chances it may have of not being dead by trying to turn people off playing it. You can find matches, and servers are still up. yes it has a low playerbase but a lot of these people are review bombing purely out of spite and anger which is really fucking stupid. I think these people want the game to die at this point which is ridiculous, if you genuinely liked it you should be trying to get people to play it still and leave honest reviews. Not review bomb it like children who are angry they didnt get their way. the devs havent done an update in awhile, but they have more planned for this year at some point and there is nothing about servers being cancelled or anything online at all.

If you love gay space pirates, and getting invaded, this is your game.

Was all the hype 3 years ago and now is dead. I leave this comment to warn yall who want to buy this now. Dead game unfortunately, they stopped all progress around 2024 and haven't returned.

Fun game with some good atmosphere. Dead unfortunately. Very long queue times if you actually want to get into match, kind of wish they just gave folks a single player mode but honestly it would be pretty hollow without PvP. If you do end up getting in a match be prepared to be absolutely wrecked by the dedicated folks who have good gear and hours put into this game that you won't be able to match. It's frankly very unfriendly to new players due to just the core design giving major advantages to geared up players. This was a problem even when the game had a healthy player base but now that it's like 20 people it's really bad. Developer has moved on and just stopped communicating with the community. If you don't believe me check out their roadmap on store they have posted from 2023 they haven't bothered to update in 2 years.

I believe if you all update your game, make it known that you all have had some things going on, and continue. Why are we at a standstill with this game? this game is one of a kind. Its popular, just needs an update

it's a shame it died, this was one of my first extraction shooter games and I fell in love! would still be great with active players and dev support :/

The game had something special going for it. It had what looked like an interesting story and setting. But the amount of griefing that was happening in game chased me away for a good chunk of time. Decided to recently look back at this game out of curiosity, only to find that it has long since been abandoned.

this game is just another abandoned pvp game. it would be nice if it had pve and solo modes. similar to games like deep rock galactic. even thought deep rock has no pvp but at least i can still play it solo or with a group of buddies through personal lobbies while not much people are on.
