Feels like a mobile game, plays simple enough. I lost intertest in the endgame, but my 7-year old enjoys the early stages of the game. Sadly Steam only offers yes/no choice, because this would be a neutral for me, as the price is low and it is runnign stable. Since it is clearly not something I would recommend anyone, I gave a no though.

Ehhhh game is fun but playing on harder diff makes it pure RNG game IF you get good classes with good gear with the right opponents you will get to a point but you need a perfect combo of all things to progress they are not on even fighting levels using strategy only goes so far. Normal mode you are nearly unstoppable and if you get the perfect RNG in harder diff you can possibly beat the game .... I Figured something out as well about the game you get PUNISHED for leveling up too fast if you don't have the gear progression along with the leveling you will lose I am guessing this game bases the opp level off your level pool and that means MUCH stronger opponents This game still needs work....

You can use any team composition and it will work. Gets really grindy later on when you're too high level for the weekly tournaments but not strong enough to beat the monthly tournaments or missions. So you just have to keep grinding the easy weeklies but they barely give xp to level up your dudes. I would only recommend this during a sale

enemy got knocked out of the arena and i couldn't finish the battle. lost a month of game time. not sure what the point of slowing down time is when you can't control your units mid fight.

Fantastic game, runs well on a lenovo thinkpad, and offers the perfect amount of entertainment while simultaneously requiring very little thought. Great for long days on campus between classes. The game has a wide variety of gladiator variants alongside an enormous amount of team compositions. This couples with a nice and simple economy alongside a pleasant overarching story of 3 dueling factions who will offer you jobs throughout the campaign.

Great little autobattler, great price. Impressive variety of units, choice of rewards leads to branching strategies - do you take the raw materials to build a guild building to recruit a new unit type in the shop, or take straight up gold to recruit existing units waiting in the shop, or maybe spend that gold on a new item. Reroll the shops to try to get better item offerings. All the good strategy choices you want in this type of game. Good items system, always upgrading and getting stronger while juggling upkeep costs of your expanding stable of gladiators. Not too punishing, so I'm able to bounce back from mistakes (made many lol). Lots of different enemy types as the story progresses, you need to look at what you're up against. Good synergies with certain classes. Love auto chess games, and haven't played a single player version of one before. This one is totally worth the price of admission on the current steam sale, kudos to the devs. Nice little game you got goin here. Only knock - this game does not work for steam deck. Don't get it to play on steam deck. I bought with the intention of playing on my couch with docked steam deck and ps5 controler. Controller support is bunk, you need a mouse to navigate the menu. I was basically using the middle pad of my ps5 like a mouse and everything took forever, super tedious. Steam deck players beware, it's a kb+m game through and through.

Perhaps a good idea but the UI is such a mess of unlcear choices mixed with all the colors possible that I refuse to use it. Refunding. Devs pls consider UI design improvement.

This game crashes constantly. I like the actual game, which I have to do by choosing a beta version, but I am upset you don't spend time to make it stable.

Great game with tactics/strategies + stats and customization, light-hearted theme. Some grinding if one desires. Replayed for 3 faction storylines.

Been playing this pretty non-stop, surprised it took them 6 years to develop, like sure you can see the polish for the type of style the game is, a few minor tweaks like improved tool-tips, but overall I would highly recommend. The game has a few missions that spawn that for the life of me I couldn't beat, and so I'm convinced it's a bullet sponge boss that's a too strong too early, I'm only 4-6 hours in the campaign. I have no idea how anyone is expected beat it on anything harder than normal, since I put all my best crew with consumables and it only hit the boss down to half health. Unless it's a gimmicky strategy where you're supposed to only kill it with a particular unit with a specific ability, but then I think that's kinda lame. Still, besides that small gripe, I've really been enjoying it, and I'd happily buy it for my nephews. It's definitely a grinding type game, but you still feel yourself progressing, which isn't always easy to pull off in these types of games when the enemies get increasingly difficult as you level up, it risks the predicament of feeling stagnant or OP one side or the other. I wish I could select them like I would in an RTS and command them as the fought. They offer you to set priorities, and I must admit that's helpful, because I was getting very frustrated when my guys was running back and forth between two archers without making up his mind on who to kill, so he eventually died which was incredibly frustrating, but after discovering the priority option (in the top left corner) it mostly fixed that issue. Awesome job devs!

A very good autobattler that gives enough variety and challenge to keep you going. Great for that one more run type of session.

I didn't care for the game. To be fair, I didn't give it much of a chance, but the tutorial is pretty much non-existent, so the on-boarding is rough. Without an explanation of what the gladiators' stats mean, how to use the UI, or what some short-, mid-, and long-term goals are that the player ought to work toward, I just didn't have a good time.

Painfully dull and a bit wild to deal with with constant resets to get the right start for the higher settings. Not to mention various ui oversight or design flaws that are annoying to deal with and unintuitive menus
