Other people are right to point out that the game is pretty linear, gives you way too much dialogue in some instances, combat is often times extremely one-solution puzzle based, but overall I really did find myself liking this game. It's ROUGH, to be quite honest, with characters and ideas kinda just being thrown out there but they get explored [Almost] in totality so you never really get introduced to a character only for them to disappear outright.
I don't know if I'd recommend it at 20 dollars unless you are OK with it being, mostly, a story based puzzle platformer. If you know and accept that prior to starting you'll love it more than I did: If you're going in expecting some really deep exploration gameplay or lots of minor mechanics creating this beast of a game feel, you'll be left wanting. At a certain point VERY early on I noticed that the game wasn't really rewarding my exploration nor were enemies meant to be fought in creative ways, so instead of wasting time fighting enemies I would just avoid them, instead of exploring I just started rushing through to get to each plot point which is good stuff. However this does create an issue: There is no real "Choices" here either, no "Secret inverted castle", no real way to play in a way that changes the story even in minor ways. While it's enjoyable, it's definitely a one and done story with a world I'd LOVE to see more of, hopefully with the Developer getting a bit more help. Pacing is, by far, the game's worst issue so just know, by the time you hit the final 3rd of the game, it'll be just a nonstop sprint to the end.
It is a really good game, and if you're looking for a puzzle platformer, this game is absolutely worth it at full price. Recommended overall! [The music is really good, the soundtrack is definitely worth it as well.]
