Higurashi When They Cry Hou - Ch. 5 Meakashi

What can I say? This is the best chapter ive played yet for sure this is the only review yet i feel obligated to use spoiler blackouts for because I cant really explain my love for this chapter without putting some small spoilers if your reading this without wanting to be spoiled this chapter is a must play with the highest quality of cgs, consistency and a downwards spiral that is just unmatched for me that reminds me of arc 6 of rezero (my fav arc in any anime of all time) further reading is spoilers [spoiler] Shion's slow decent into insanity and murder is so heartbreaking but so intriguing reading something from a killers perspective while slowly getting worse and worse until realizing it was all for nothing is some of the best writing ive got to witness, shion is one of my fav female characters of all time and I could even relate to her on some stuff (ofc not murder and stuff lol) but the deeper look into her character shows alot of flaws and feels like she really represents depersonlization which is something ive experienced in my life many times, and her in the end wishing she was never born and wondering where it started to go wrong then having a dream and wishing she fixed her mistakes at the last moment is the most heartbreaking thing, as in the staff room section of chap 5 the author asks what can make murder justified? Well it doesnt really seemed justified but shion is able to gain some sympathy points the demon inside her using the excuses to keep getting worse and worse until the end is sad and I only wish to see slice of life between her and satoko it would heal my soul, absolute amazing written character chapter 5 is special to me with its high quality and having one of the most unique personalities in a character ive seen, i teared up by the final tips its a masterpiece thats for sure [/spoiler]
